“This has got to be one of the worst betting sites for customer service I have ever experienced. Fact. I went on live chat at 4.38pm. Number 14 in queue. Fact. 510pm. Number 4 in queue Must be a bus load of people complaining about major delays in getting paid like me. Do not use betway unless you want the same experience. Ps I have screenshots as evidence if betway wish to challenge me.”

“Hello. I do not recommend this company. My wife made an account to this company. She bet 10 pounds For 10 pounds bet she had to send proof of her. It was not enough bank statement. Mister Betfair needed more proof of the address. Betfair, she bet 10 pounds out of her pocket to open this account. Shame on you.”

“Betway can process a deposit but somehow can’t process a withdrawal. They must think customers are thick. Spending too much on advertising and not looking after their business . People must be leaving in droves.”

“Hey guys, I'm an avid gambler and im just checking site reviews as I met my weekly deposit limit on Betway and was checking reviews of other sites to have a flutter 😊. As Im doing that thought I'd check Betway reviews as a comparrison. I've been using betway for over 3 years and it is still my no.1 trusted site. It's legit and fair. Had some really big wins and also spent a few bucks. The sports give some of the best odds, the wagering requirement is ok and they pay... Just found Grosvenorcasino too which may be the only other casino I'll use going forward (slots) very legit. Remember folks set your limits early on and gamble responsibly. Peace out”

“well, seems im not the only one .. concerning as i have recently withdrawn .. bare in mind i have been a customer and avid user for many years and in the past withdrawn with no issues... now i have withdrawal issues .. no answers as to what is the problem .. i believe betway maybe going into liquidation soon and this is why the funds are not being paid. gambling commision should investigate .. do not use this site people .. they will take your money but will not pay out a penny ! good luck everyone getting your funds .”

“After waiting nearly 2 months for my withdrawal . I have a message for betway. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You dont deserve to have a UK licence . Your devious actions can only be described as crooked and dishonest and I will tell anyone who will listen to avoid any dealings with your pathetic company. Don’t treat people like idiots . You won’t have a business left the way you carry on. For anyone who have suffered the stress, anxiety and false hope as me and who have been lied to and mislead by betway, don’t stand for it. Issue these scumbags with a statutory demand followed by a legal writ. Shame on you betway”

“When a company like betway can’t pay customers back in over 6 weeks, alarm bells should start to ring. I have been chasing daily since February and have been given the run around by betway who allege they need to ring me to further verify the account in order to withdraw. Guess what? No phone calls from these crooks followed by patronising emails alleging they tried to contact me but couldn’t get through. I tried ringing customer service. Guess what? Nobody answered in 13 minutes! Went on live chat, guess what? It doesn’t work! Emailed again, same emails asking for a time for betway to ring me. I reply with times, guess what? Nobody rings! I email again, no reply! I threaten to take legal action and ask for an address to serve papers. Guess what? They ignored my request. In short, betway are a bunch of scamming crooks and there has to be serious question marks over its solvency if they can’t pay a customer back. The gambling commission should be made aware of their unscrupulous practices and in any situation where a company refuses to honour a debt owed, there should be a petition for winding up of the company. Be wary of other review sites where they post their own glowing reviews. In my view,betway should not be allowed to operate in the regulated uk market. Google earth the betway head office in Malta and you will soon share my concern about the transparency or lack of it . Avoid this site at all cost.”

“Utter shambles of a company. Betway should have their licence taken away. How can you take money off people and when they win, don’t pay them. It’s called a scam in the dictionary. For those who can’t get through the maze of a so called customer service who don’t answer calls or no obvious live chat, there is a way . When you get to the contact us page and the faq , at the bottom, it ask if this page was helpful. Click no. It will get you to another page , Click on live chat and it should work. Like any debt owed, pursue through the county court and issue betway with a writ . Ibas takes too long.”

“avoid at all costs, i had valid id and proof of address and they still wouldnt let me withdraw, they are happy and quick to take money from you but wont give you it back, i urge you to stay away from them”
