“I took my bird Sunglasses on a skiing holiday last week. Unfortunately they didn’t survive the journey to Austria. Despite being in the case provided which I carried in my hand luggage, the frame of the glasses broke in transit. I don’t think I’d buy these again - they’re pretty flimsy.”

“I bought a pair of Kaka honey prescription glasses in May 2022, off the back of the sustainability ethos promoted by the company. They broke after a year - one of the arms fell off. I contacted the company but, nearly 3 months down the line, they have still not been formally repaired, the temporary repair we completed at home has failed and I have consequently ordered a new pair from another supplier. I absolutely will not be back to order again, which is a real shame as the company's philosophy is excellent, but the product quality and customer service has been poor. I'd upload a photo if I could, but apparently that function isn't working for me either.”

“It's been 2 months and I have not received any updates. The last email I received was a month ago, saying I'd get the glasses. This review will change if I do receive my glasses, but as of now, I feel frustrated. It feels unfair to pay for the glasses and still not having them two months afterward. In case someone at Bird is reading this, my order number is 8582. I ordered a pair of Kaka Clear glasses with blue lenses on the 27th of October 2022.”

Hey, Lawrence here, thanks for getting in touch. It seems some of our communication has been missed which I will look into. I'm so sorry we have been unable to fulfil your order. After sending two pairs to Guatemala, which have subsequently been lost in transit, we are at a loss of how we can get a pair of Birds delivered to your location. We have reached out again via email and issued the refund as discussed. We hope that they will one day turn up and you get to keep the missing Birds. “I ordered a pair of glasses over a month ago but they never arrived. I emailed Bird once a couple of weeks ago and another time a couple of days ago, but they have not replied. This review may change if I do receive my glasses, but as of now I feel frustrated. It feels unfair to pay for the glasses and still not having them a month afterwards.”

Hey Mihaela, we're so sorry for the delays before Christmas. Sadly due to the Postal strikes and strain on the other postal systems it seemed the delays were unavoidable. We are looking into how we can mitigate this situation for future strikes! Thanks again for your patience and for shopping with Bird.

“Unfortunately my order is yet to arrive. It seems to be very delayed, perhaps even lost. I haven't had any update recently regarding delivery. I truly wish I was writing a better review but it is disappointing that the review request has arrived before the order.”

“Really disappointed with my birds. The reflection on the lens whilst wearing them is really irritating, made worse by the translucent frames that pick up the light and form a halo around your vision. Making them almost unwearable in the sun. Also the wooden arm has split and has fallen off.”
