“Would give zero rating if possible, placed an order over a month ago, items didn’t arrived, contacted to chase items, was told not in stock, still no refund despite calling/emailing. Absolutely awful company, avoid!!!”

“I ordered a resin stag garden statue three weeks ago, but sadly it arrived damaged. My replacement statue arrived today, but this one has even more damage than the first. I rang up customer service and forwarded the pictures of the damaged item. The woman advised me that she would have to ask her manager whether another stag statue could be sent out to me, because I want the item which I have paid for, but I want one which isn't damaged. They have emailed me back to say that it isn't their policy to send me out another item, which hopefully would be undamaged. They have arranged for the two damaged items to be collected, and have told me that once they have them back, then they will iniate a refund. It has been so stressful unpacking the items and then repacking them again, plus the emails and all of the phone calls. I am really dissapointed as I wanted the item. The last five pictures are of the first damaged stag statue, the others are of the replacement which I recieved today.”

“Thank you for speedy delivery. The garden table and chairs arrived this morning. Assembly was straightforward and we quickly put all altogether. We ate al fresco tonight. The quality is great. So nice to find a British company building up to a specification rather than down to a price. Solid and elegant. Phil & Yukie (Surrey)”

“I purchased 2 hedgehog plant spikes and a rabbit with a bird on its foot.these items are superbly crafted and beautifull in design.the qaulty of these items i would expect to pay a premium price.they represent excerlent value for money.also fantastic speedy delivery.2nd purchase I will be back for more.”

“My purchase is a disappointment, customer service more so My purchase is a disappointment. The paint finish of my crocodile flaked off within 6 weeks of being in the garden and customer services are not even responding to my emails to acknowledge my complaint. A very disappointing experience for such an expensive purchase”

“I purchased a ‘Chester’ Robin sculpture. It arrived within a week and is absolutely superb. I really love it and in fact I’ve ordered two more for friends. Made of recycled forks and spoons, it’s great. I wish this company many future sale of their products and every success.”

“I've ordered two pallet delivery items, the first could only be delivered to my kerb as I have a gravel drive, I had to remove all parts from the pallet and move them into my property, the driver from UPN could barely function physically, that certainly didn't help, poor soul. The bench had to be reworked by myself to be functional, poorly made but usable in the end. The second delivery has yet to arrive, UPN agreed to delivery today (Friday) I waited in all day, cancelled appointments, only to see the delivery date on the site change to this Monday. I had asked BCMW to intervene as I'd heard nothing from UPN, their CS is awful they show it delivered their end(!?) and the head of CS who emailed failed to follow up with my messages. I will NOT ever be dealing with these clowns or their subcontractors, a wholly distasteful experience. 0/5 for CS and delivery option. 2/5 for product satisfaction. ****** SO...I finally got the pieces...guaranteed to deliver Friday, took day off work, NOPE. Then set up for Monday, day off work, NOPE and this is after contacting the co. multiple times and them trying to apparently intervene...Finally got a delivery Tuesday, third day off work!!! Sent a huge truck after I warned it was tight, dumped at the end of a long drive...The whole process was beyond farce, Ben Knowles from BCMW promised to help, offereca derisory 50 pound refund, multiple emails but totally ghosted me and stopped replying. AVOID!!!”

“Very easy to order and very helpful and concerned when my Order went astray with the Courier. No fault on behalf of Black Country Metal Works but they were keen to resolve the matter and sent me another one with a different Courier at no extra cost to me. My new Doormat is great , good quality and we’re really pleased with it! I would highly recommend this small Business.”

“Sadly not a great experience with this company. Purchased a companion set which took weeks to arrive. Postage for goods to Northern Ireland was extortionate for two items. Brush in companion set was faulty after second use & had to return the set. Lengthy waiting time for a replacement so opted for a refund Lengthy waiting time to get a refund from.company. Sadly not the best experience with this company.”

“Hi, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the ‘Lansbrook Hall extra large fire screen fireguard’ we purchased way back in 2019. I should have reviewed it before now, but time rushed by these last few years. It has been one of the very BEST purchases we have ever made. I actually don’t know how we lived over twenty five years prior to its use with our large fireplace. We struggled on using bog standard fireguards purchased at local shops. They never fully did the job. It was wonderful when we found yours. It made such a difference. I genuinely praise it every time a log or lump of coal rolls out the fire or a big crack of coal splinter shoots out the fire and is stopped in its tracks by the mesh…, it covers the entire fire opening, the fact it still allows heat through yet still giving a massive sense of relief that it’s so safe, never mind the fact I’m as rough as anything but it stands up to my mishandling! Seven years old and still going strong…thank you! Oh and we know where to come when I finally break something on it! Thank you!”
