“The company has no idea how to run an eCommerce site. Ordered items on April 4th, emailed on April 14th, they said one item would be another two weeks so asked them to send all other items that they confirmed. Emailed again on May 11th as nothing had been received, no replies. Emailed again on May 22nd, still no replies. Finally called them and they said "Ah yeah no idea what's happened there, the lead time is now 22 weeks, should we send the other items?" , Something they had said 2 months ago. Today is May 27th, and still nothing. 53 days, no replies to emails, no products, no explanation, hundreds of pounds lost. Do not take your chance in ordering anything online from them, they have a serious lack of processes that means your order can just sit in limbo for months.”

“Bought two sets of fire tools and was shocked that you thought it was useable for an open fire . Its better suited for a dolls house. Very disappointed . Just look at the state of the brush!!”

“Bought a Dorchester Lantern from this Company, it arrived with seven defects, dented, top hat was off square,... not weatherproof,.. no IP rating & contrary to their statement that " Its up to the electrician to verify the IP Raring ," before they make statements like that they need to familiar themselves with the IEE regulations ! It is up to the MANUFACTURER TO PROVIDE THE RATING NOT THE ELECTRICIAN!!!!! OH YEAH & THE Paint WAS flaking off, the item looked like it had been knocked up in China by the Foo King metal bashing shop! quality is absolutely abysmal!! If I said it was junk it would be an insult to Junk !! Would not buy a nail from this Company, AS IT PROBABLY WOULD BE BENT & MADE FROM BUTTER !!! if I could give negative Star ratings it wouLd be -5***** How are they allowed to import this dangerous 5hite is beyond belief”

“Requested to order and ship two victorian lamp posts to NZ. The shipping costs were assessed at 2,700 pounds approx. (items to purchase were around 1,000 pounds). The courier cost was equivalent to a first class return airfare on a reputable airline between the two countries. When i asked would they consider a sea based freight forwarding company, they responded by saying that the forwarding costs remained unchanged. I sent correspondence highlighting that I was dissapointed that they wouldn't revisit the costs and method of shipping and cc-ed in the Chairman for the company. Heard nothing back from either the Export Manager or the Chairman.”

“I ordered a rose arch on the 11th may 21 was told that expected delivery would be 6th of July but on the 7th July that was altered to mid August………not worth the wait so cancelled the order……what a waste of time”

“Purchased Black Iron postbox. RE: Post Box 283591 & invoice 289080 with no fixings or spacing grommets. Contacted office who were somewhat unwellnot overly helpful , but eventually consented to forward fixings. Screws arrived (too large for pre drilled holes) and no spacers. Contacted office again via email and they promised to source items - nothing heard in months. Purchased 12mm neoprene backing drilled and fixed item to wall. Post box is poorly designed, letter box opening unit on top extends about 10mm beyond rear housing necessitating spacers or a separate wood or metal bracket. Paintwork inside poor metal surface not correctly prepped prior to painting. No seal means water runs in through top and box door on the front. This will rust in quick time - though there is a false floor inside to stop letters becoming soaked from the bottom up. Poor box though of nice appearance customer service non existent.”
