“Could not fault the company regarding the sale of the fridge to me, however the company delivering it has a lot to be desired, picked up on the 5th and taken to the depot and to this day is still sitting there waiting for enough heavy items to send over in a container (that`s what i have been told) not happy, it is now the 17th and tracking still has it sitting in their Vic warehouse.”

“Bought a griddle. There was an issue with the courier. CKS handled the issue with great customer service. The griddle is amazing. Compact. Very powerful. With a 15amp to 10amp stepdown converter...I have a dream set-up in my cbd apt kitchen. For lovers of overbuild...commercial quality appliances...at a great price...CKS is the only place that offers this quality at an affordable price.”

“Product looks great and works good after 3 days. I think the delivery process is a bit of a con. Why pay extra for them to lift of with tail gate for something that only weighs 60 kgs. Find another carrier”

Hi Warren, Thanks very much for your feedback and for highlighting this issue. We completely agree with you. It's beyond ridiculous. Some of the carriers are now insisting on a tail lift truck for items over 25kg - 35kg depending on the courier. We lose customers over this, it's not good. It's all driven by health and safety gone mad. Our hands are tied unfortunately. We have no control over if a tail lift truck is required for a delivery. As a rule of thumb, anything over 35kg in weight will trigger a tail lift price option. If we had a choice we would rather let customer decide and have the option to get a few guys together and lift a heavy item off the truck if they so wished. You are going to carry it into it's final position anyway. It really makes no sense. For any future purchasers reading this: The combined weight and dimensions of an order is sent to each courier via a system called Macship - this then returns a live price to the website. We always display the most competitive option depending on residential or business delivery (they have different rates for each and residential will always show a tail lift option on heavy items (ALL carriers insist)). If any customer would like to organize their own courier service, the delivery weight and dimensions of each item is included in the product data section of each item for you to get your pricing. Just let us know, send through the manifest and we are happy to load you purchase on to the truck. Apologies for the long winded reply, but it's a very frustrating issue which we can do nothing about. Have a great day, CKS sales team
