“Scam artists. Paid them $600 to build a website. Then months later they asked for another $800 for other plugins and features they said they couldn't do for the initial amount even though I specifically asked them about it before. Their tactic is to gauge how much you are willing to pay, because scamming you for something is better than nothing. Then they present you with something, probably using some website template and do some superficial changes to it to create the illusion of work so they can stall indefinitely while trying to get you to pay for more feature as well as try to upsell you to other services. They tried to upsell me to having them build me an app. They inconsistently threw numbers out between $4000-$12000. Presented me with a "scope doc" which had terrible english and terrible use of tech terminology and hardly any features. They said if they typed everything out the document would be "too long". With the website development they would come back every week or two saying "everything is done" and nothing was done. I basically had to have my sister correct the design and tell them what to do. There was never even beginning of development of the back end and they could not even understand how my product is distributed to be able to create one. I spent days quality assuring the UI, sending them the same lists of defects and making videos in LOOM, as per their request, to show them the defects and UI functionality I need them to change. They would just come back with the same "everything is done". They try to sell you on how all the work is backed by a money back guarantee. When I started asking for a refund they stopped responding. I doubt they are even based in the US. I've seen many reviews on Trustpilot and other review website where others have described the exact same experiences.”

“Disappointment is an understatement. This company is abysmal! Our company hired Branding Agency Inc. for a website, SEO, and a mobile App, in April of 2022. The whole process has been a financial strain and headache. Working originally with a designer by the name Mark Ryder, he promised a beautiful website. Which turned out decent, but it contains lots of bugs, improper English and information that is not consistent. None of which has been fixed. We spoke with someone named Maria, who also did not fix the problems we addressed. We continued to speak with Mark with the design of our mobile app. After we paid 40K, we had nothing to show for it. Eventually a downloadable app was made available the end of Dec. 2022. However, even then, the app is not useable. Mark was taken off the project and we started communications with Clark Jones (one of the nicer representatives/program designers we have worked with). However, being told -again-, “not to worry about it”, the app was presented with updates, and still, IT DID NOT WORK. Till this day after 4 promised dates, IT STILL DOES NOT WORK! So many promises were undelivered! We wouldn’t have enough room to list them all out. Our website was held hostage (twice), our app is held hostage because of the continued surprise charges this company presents. For example, just a few weeks ago we were surprised with a “necessary” fee for ADA complacence. This is over a $9,000 charge. $9000 for what, we still do not know… Speaking with one of the CEO’s, Steve Phoenix -he too- promised the app would be completed. In fact, he said this was his only project so he could monitor and expedite the app. More time, more money, still nothing to show. Though Steve told us -again-, “not worry about it.” He claimed he would push the ADA charge until the App is complete and we were satisfied. Nonetheless, we are constantly bombarded with calls to get the $9,250. Of course, this is an extra charge after all of the other surprise charges throughout the process of the website and app. They ALWAYS need additional money. Over 100K in the hole with nothing to show. Just stress, empty promises and so, so much wasted time. I also think it is important that we include the company asked for private information. Including: login & password for our Square account, and login & password to our Apple Credentials. When we mentioned we were not comfortable with sharing this CONFIDENTIAL information, Steve responded with, “Don’t worry about it, you can just change your password later.” THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. YOU WILL LOSE MONEY. WE REGRET EVER USING THEM. Their slogan should be, “Don’t Worry About It, We Will Just Take Your Money!”.”

“When we began our association with this company it was with a firm called Zesty Branding. Jayden built us a very nice website and was attentive top our needs and desires. Our real troubles began when one of our board members tried to make a donation to our organization through our page and discovered that this wasn’t possible because was in “test mode” and never fully activated. I contacted Jayden only to discover that he had left the company. Steve Phoenix was the person who answered the phone and informed me that in order to make the donation page active we would need to pay an additional $1500— which we did. It was at that point the I was informed that our website wasn’t ADA compliant, and to make it so they would charge us an additional $2500. I told him that I would need to discuss this with the board of the organization as I was not at liberty to do so without their approval. The next day I learned at our website had been disabled and redirected to a page that read “ Website suspended. due to non compliance. Please contact your developer.” Branding Agency Inc. (the new name of the company) took our website hostage to try and force us to pay for their ADA compliance package. We were able to get into the website and take down their wall. Our website in now operational but if one searches for us on Google their noncompliance message appears at the bottom of the search. Initially the agency delivered a nice product but the despicable, manipulative, and mean-spirited business practices make me sorry that we ever did business with this company. They are certainly a firm to be avoided.”

“A complete and absolute scam. Took $2450.00 from us and instead of all our marketing material that we paid for, we got 800 labels and now no communication. It is obvious that all the positive reviews are false/paid for. This relationship was started and based on a lie. This company is not based out of California but India. And there is no such thing as a refund with this company. They power sell to you and then steal your money with no intention of providing the products. I am filing complaints with the International Better Business Bureau and the Federal Consumer Credit Agency along with any other federal agencies I can.”

“After numerous calls from Jayden, I decide to hire him a month to month due to his convincing attitude as I paid him the first mount, I instructed him to follow my direction as I am looking for a long relationship after 10 days that nothing done he sent me a questioner to fill out to build a backlinks when I submit it, he demands money for 6 month that I will not do, sent me the backlinks with the wrong information, he never provides me with passwords for those backlinks, when I ask him for user and password, I was told to pay for it as a form of blackmail I am not recommending to anybody to use brandingagency to use their services complain will be file by B,B.B as it's posted with out approve it”

“If I could give negative stars, I would. If you are looking for an app developer, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This is from an email I sent them after I really realized what this company was all about.. “Back in December, I reached out to Jack Brown about starting an app development project for me and my fitness business. We had a discussion about budget and he informed me that for what I wanted, an app and a website, it would be $7500 minimum, to which I responded that it was out of my budget, as much as I really would’ve loved it. Because it was not a necessity for me, and because I am merely in my first year of business, I just wasn’t ready to invest that much into something I wasn’t even sure would be that big of a benefit, at least not at this point in time. The day after Christmas, Jack called to inform me that they were having a one day sale, half off of the application process. He pushed and said, “Come on, this is a great opportunity, you won’t find another app developer who can do your project at that rate.” I thought about it and decided he was right. This was a great opportunity, and as a business owner, I understand that in order to be successful you have to take some risks. So I jumped. I did, however, have a conversation with Jack about how this was ALL I could afford and it was ALL I was willing to invest so if you could really do it within that budget, great! If not, I’d much rather not even start the process. He reassured me that it could be done within the budget and that he would make it work. I then spoke to him about the fact that I know nothing when it comes to the development of an app or the process surrounding it. I told Jack that I was relying on him to communicate with me about the different stages of the process and what was required from me in the process, to which he said, “Yes, of course! We will walk you through everything!” Fast forward to this past May, I reached out to Jack about when in the app process I would need to submit notes on the specific things I wanted included in my app (app features and extras specific to my business) to which he informed me that that stage had already been completed and that I had missed the opportunity to include anything else without incurring more finances for myself, seeing as his team would now have to backtrack. I was upset and felt like Jack should’ve informed me of this previously. But, seeing as it was a miscommunication on both of our ends (his for not informing me of each stage and mine for not being more proactive), I decided it wasn’t fair for him to have to pay for it. So he required another $1800 to include what I needed included, and I happily paid half. I believe in integrity and I didn’t feel it was right for him to take that loss. Now we move forward. I get a call from the company informing me that we are now entering the stage in the process to start thinking about marketing. To which I was informed that I would be required to pay an additional $500-$600 monthly for the next 3 months to get help with the marketing. Again, I got very upset. I was never informed previously that this would be needed and furthermore that it would require more funds from me. I had already laid out my budget and here we were again, having to pour more of my money into an app that I had previously been reassured I wouldn’t have to pay anything more for. So I informed them, well, as unfortunate as it was that this wasn’t included in the budget plan laid out to me from the start, it was not necessary for my business. They convinced me to pay at least another $300 so they could work on the google analytics but I declined their help in advertising because I simply could not afford it. After this incidence, I had a conversation with the person overseeing my app development now (Jack Brown had an accident and was out-the project was then handed to a man named David) in which I explained how frustrated I was with the communication that was occurring with my project. None of these extra expenses were ever discussed when I signed up, and at this point I was feeling very much mislead and taken advantage of. I explained that the ENTIRE process should’ve been covered in the beginning so that I had a true picture of what this process was really gonna expect out of me. But regardless, we settled our disagreements, he reassured me that there would be no more surprises and that I could rest easy. I am writing this email because this process has been nothing but frustrating for me… Yesterday, David calls me to tell me that now I need to purchase a server for my app to be launched on. He wanted $2500 minimum to get this process started. To which I told him, “Why wasn’t this talked about before?? Why am I just NOW hearing about this?” I am not a tech-savvy person. That is why I went out of my way to HIRE a company who was. Who had the experience I needed to move my business forward. I know nothing about what it takes to create, launch, start, or host an app. I had no clue that the hosting would not be included in the price of my package, that AGAIN further expenses would be required from me. I am simply reaching out because I feel helpless right now. Not only have the people I’ve been corresponding with not been transparent with me about the TRUE cost of what this app process is, they’ve neglected to offer any other solutions aside from me investing YET EVEN MORE money into this project. To say that they have lost my trust is an understatement. I do not trust that they won’t come to me a month from now and ask for more money. I feel as if this company will just tell me whatever they know I want to hear as long as they can keep the money coming in. So of course, my last inclination is to sink even more money in when I haven’t even seen if the results of the project were even worth it! Furthermore, upon bringing up my concerns, and really thinking about what this process has been like from start to finish, I am confronted with the realization that I have nothing to fall back on. There was no written contract signed by both parties. There has only been email/phone correspondence and this makes me feel even more so like the integrity of this company is not in the right place. Since I have not found a solution with the people I have been corresponding with, I am hoping, somebody, anybody in your board of directors, can help me. I am desperate. I started this project excited and I am filled with nothing but regret now. I am not a big company. I am a one-woman show, I am just barely getting started and to say that I’m worried about taking this as a loss is an understatement. I have invested almost ALL of my savings into this, something I was not wanting to do in the beginning and to which I communicated to Jack. It sucks so much that now that this process is started, I have no chance of getting anything back. There is nothing to protect me if I am unhappy with the service I’ve been getting. And no one is hurt by the results of my business relationship with you except for me. The customer. So I am pleading with you, please help me find a solution.””

“I purchased a logo design 7 months ago and everything was great... until today. I received my third unsolicited text message attempting to get me to purchase more of their services. When I told them I did not wish to continue hearing from them, I was told I had to pay $140 to be placed on their do-not-contact list. When I mentioned that this is in violation of Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, I was berated. After the contact decided to verbally abuse and taunt me for several minutes I finally blocked their number and the entire companies domain on our email server.”

“I have to give this place negative stars to properly make you aware. A simple task of converting a drawing into a logo took several months. The whole time the project manager, John Martin, hassled me to buy more things like business cards, Copyrights, website design, and product. I purchased shirts that wasn't anything like I requested three months prior to receiving and never got anything else from them. They will tell you that everything is guarantied, but I've requested cancel of everything else. They never returned any $. They drug it out long enough for my credit card to not be able to dispute. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! RUN AWAY!”

I had to be the one to follow up all the time, I had to pretty much "babysit them to make sure things were being done. When I received my business cards, the quality of them was terrible. “Mar 27, 2021. Corrupt practices! Corrupt practices. Focused solely on upselling you extra services...when all you wanted initially was a great logo or simple service. Here is a real story about my experience with this company...and I paid them over $4,500 dollars. Last year I asked for a logo. The logo was great. I have applied to trademark it. Then, I was upsold on a website, product development, fulfillment and shipping. The website package was over $2,000 and turned out to be a recycled website used by an earlier customer. I disputed the fraud through my bank and got a full refund. As for the products and services, I still haven't received the baseball caps, shipping packages or fulfillment service. They asked for more money ($750) in order to complete the project. I told them no way. How about you give me $2,000 in goods and services...or a complete refund?! Simply put this company is a scam. Very unprofessional and don't realize that great business here in the US (and other places) requires transparency and honesty. Do you think i would return and do more business with these clowns? Obviously, they have one or two good people working for them...but the rest are corrupt. So, I will dispute the remaining $2,000 credit with my credit card company or hire a lawyer. That is the only way to deal with these fools. Avoid them at all costs. If you don't, then just get your logo...and don't let them upsell you on any other service or package. That is when their scammers from India take over. If I decide to file a lawsuit, I will post the actions and results here.”

I had them design a website has been going on for almost a year spend thousands of dollars to end up with a substandard product that can't be used and no refund all they do is steal from people. “Please please and I am asking please do not use these scam artist. I asked for a company logo provide all the graphics and all a revived the same graphics with a triangle on too😂😂they got me good. I promise you as soon as they introduce themselves I should have know those are not their names. All I could think of the capital one commercial with Peggie. Anyways, you will not get your money pack, and no they are not from California. Well plaid John Martin from India. Don’t be me and deal with these headaches. Move along to a different company. Again please do not fall for it, I can’t believe I did, I guess I’m getting old.”

“I paid for Branding Agency to do 2 logos and 2 websites. After their delivery due date came and went by over a month, they said the guy who initially promised completion of the projects didn't ask the right questions and we had to start over. I spoke with the manager who gave me a money-back guarantee to move forward and promised completion in another 2-4 weeks. MONTHS LATER... they keep giving me the run around. All I have seen are the Homepages with no test link or functionality for either website. I also only received one of the logos. They also called me at the end of the month to say they needed more money to complete the project. I have requested a full refund and if not received, will be reporting them to the BBB International. Bad Service. Promises that aren't kept. Not legit.”
