I ordered the replacement flat cap panel because the zipper of my original bag is jammed. But it’s jammed so bad that I cannot remove the old panel. I need guidance or advice on how to remove the old panel in order to replace it.

Really like my Brightline bag. This is bag number 2 for me. The previous bag lasted about 5 years. The only issue that I sometimes have. Is that if the bag is connected to rolling luggage, and the ground is wet. The rubber feet on the bottom namely the CS4 rubber feet will not keep the bag dry. I ended up having to use some hot glue to make feet on the bottom of the CS2 bag. This is not and will not be an issue for most people. Other than that. The bag has been great.

Wish you offered the bag in another color as well. Would purchase a few more if you did as range bags.

I gave a 4 only because just got the bag and haven’t had a chance to use it yet. That being said, so far I am very impressed with how slim/compact this bag is yet just how much stuff you can fit into this bag. I built my own, not really knowing what I was doing. For the center I got the c5 and the front and back to attach to it. As I said, really didn’t know what I should’ve been ordering but I like pockets and if you do as well I highly recommend this bag. It’s perfect for all the small stuff that always seems to hide at the bottom of a bag. Overall thus far very impressed, not to mention the engineering that went into this bag is like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

My bag has held up pretty well over a six year period. The weak area is the side bottle holder, they are weak and do not last at all. The straps break really quickly, I suggest an all new design for the bottle holder. Also, there isn’t any protection for the bottom. I have to tape over the zipper on the outside attachment where the bag drags on the floor. $44 is an expensive replacement cost for the outside pocket I had to replace from the zipper being worn off from dragging.

The bags are great but the west and tear on the bottoms is hard to stop from happening

I love the BrightLine Bag but the bag they have today is not as good as the bag they made several years ago. For starters, someone at BrightLine decided to stop making the 1-inch outer panel CS1 and instead use the 2-inch CS2 outer panel. This may have been a good decision for BrightLine but for 737 pilots it was a bad decision. The space between the pilot seat and the airplane is only so wide. The new-and-improved bag squeezes that space to the point that you cannot get the seat to retract all the way. So, unless you have skinny legs, you're SOL. Good luck trying to get out of your seat without lifting your bag out first. That's a big inconvenience. Secondly, they used to put a firm backing in the pockets to provide rigidity. They don't do that anymore. The pockets are flimsy and you almost need two hands to zip the pockets closed. One to hold the bag and the other to unzip the pocket. In fact, on the older model bag, the rigid backing failed after a few years of use and that's one of the reasons I bought a new bag.

Overall I love my bag but it's got a couple of weak points that need to be addressed. First are the small zippers...especially the ones with curves in them. They tend to wear out and eventually the zipper will jump the teeth. I've had to replace one section already because of this. You just have to be careful because they aren't very robust. Second, if you don't have the strap adjusted right, the bottom will wear. It would be a better design to have the full bottom reinforced with some sort of heavy material or rubber/hard plastic.

Probably the best pilot bag I've ever owned. I have traveled the world with mine since 2016. If a module wares out I just replace that section. No need to fully replace the bag. My only reservation is the need for greater variety of accessories.

A great organizer. But it does not take the wear and tear for a busy line pilot. Bottom and outside compartments should be updated with reinforcements. That’s all that is needed for a 5/5 rating

Overall, great product. Size, modular set-up, all great. Module zippers good. Compartment zippers could be beefier. No failures yet but see one coming. Tube handle is developing cracks. Maybe a bad batch?

Great bag over all. I have had it for 2 years with only one small issue. The front part with the small pouches has worn on the bottom. There is no skid on this part so the concrete is wearing it out. Otherwise, the bag is amazing. I would buy again without hesitation.

Good costumer service. Responded to an issue and resolved it fairly.

Had mine for a while and loved most everything about it. I almost have too many pockets, ha! My only issue is the shoulder strap from you guys could be a lot better. I ended up taking one off an old Dell laptop bag and using it instead.

Very happy with the bag. Two areas for improvement IMO. as most of us attach the bag to our luggage, it sometimes drags across the ramp. If there was a way to make the bottom more wear resistant. I’ve had to replace some sections that had holes. Also I’ve lost several zipper pulls. Those are the two weak spots of my bag.

The bags work brilliantly. My only complaint is the CS2 doesn't have a plastic/rubber skid plate on the bottom. This has led to the material failing due to regular use. It doesn't drag while being wheeled, but naturally when you stand your bag up or lean it over it will come in contact with the ground while in motion. So this is the second CS2 I have had to purchase.

An excellent one for travel as can be used for regular office use also. The handle is a bit heavy or else a great travel organizer solution.
