"Would give zero if I could. We upgraded to World Traveller Plus for a flight from Cape Town to London. One of the seats wouldn't recline. It was broken. They offered us no alternative during the flight. After, British Airways would offer no compensation claiming that a reclining seat was a bonus not a feature. Absolutely dreadful."

"British Airways\u2019 \u201cbusiness class\u201d to Madrid is a fraud. Scamming people to think it\u2019s business when it\u2019s nothing but the front rows. No extra legroom, and the seat hardly reclines. Scam."

"Experience in buying flight ticket direct from British Airways.\r\nIf the flight is cancelled by BA, do not replace to voucher. Instead, Ask for a refund, to buy a new ticket. Voucher,especially future vouchers, are very difficult to use for booking new flights. If you are able to book a new flight, you will not be given an e-ticket until 24 hour before departure, but e-ticket will be offered at a price 3 times the online price! Be careful with traps like that.\r\n\r\nFinally, I asked for a refund and BA promised to return my money, but until now (more than 2 months) the refund has not been credited to my credit card!"

"Company would not agree to changing a typo in the surname, insisted I had to book an ADDITIONAL flight\r\nWhich I did\r\n\u00a3600 extra (only London to Turkey)\r\nThen could not accept payment as the system was down (I used paypal in the end)\r\nThen would not let me check in online since - guess what - my details were also on the other seat that it would not let me change the typo on my surname\r\nInteresting also - that it accepted all my passport docs, given name, surname, even those these were (slightly) different to the booked name (typo)\r\nHUGE queue at Gatwick - c3 hours of queue with only 4-5 people serving on one of the busiest weekends of the yeat- to check in - because I could not check in online - because it had insisted I spent an additional \u00a3600 to buy an additional seat which I did not need, to change a typo in my name!!!\r\nThis was as poor a set of experiences as it was possible to have, huge stress, huge time wasted, huge money wasted\r\nThank you (NOT) BA!"

"Simply the best airline. Crew fabulous. Check in, a breeze, food really good, can not fault. I would go with them again for sure. So nice to be treated with politeness. Cant wait to book again."

"Totally shocking customer care\r\n\r\nThere was a mistake on my booking made by BA.\r\n\r\nGot an email to say \"contact us to discuss\".\r\n\r\nTook over 30 contact attempts spanning 7 hours and STILL not resolved.\r\n\r\nThe absolutely most shambolic customer support I have ever experienced.\r\n\r\nStill waiting for the call back I was promised 2 weeks ago."
