“I’ll start with being positive… 0.5% conversion fees on foreign currencies is a great offering! ZeroFX rules!. But bunq is not without issues, and it is mostly about support responses. Waiting time could be shorter, as well as the time of delivery of reply that really addresses the issue. Hope you guys willt ake time to read it.”
“I didn`t believe that some features, bunq provides, can be really charge free. I mean at the ordinary banks, where you need to pay some money for cash withdrawals, money transfers, or if you want to open a card. So, here is a little not like this, because you pay a subscription in order to benefit from this commission's free banking. But, if calculating the monthly charges on the subscription, paying 10euros seems to be much more reasonable, to use good exchange rates abroad and few free atm withdrawals per month. I wish they add this to the free plan, but it`s too much to ask for this.”
“As a non-citizen (don't ask) this was the only bank that offered me to be able to register. All I really needed was a residency in the country it offers the service, and a general passport, I didn't have drivers' license and wasn't a citizen but it allowed me to register and didn't kick me out, and even send me a card to my address. I will be forever greateflul to Bunq for this and even if I get a job where they force me to use the bank they want, I will still send money from that to here.
The rate of savings going down isn't fun but it was the only bank that worked for me.”

“it is free to send and receive money, aside from the payments SEPA and SWIFT needs. Especially vs other bunq customers, any amounts, and the QR-codes help a lot too.
That is good.
On the other hand, there exists top -up fees, so when I need to add money to my account, it takes 0.5% (for non-EEA countries is 2.5 afaik).
So its easy to choose: what do you do more, top-up or send/receive. If first, bunq is best, if second, there are options.

“I switched to a paid subscription after a free trial in order tp get access to foreign IBAN payment options. That’s rather helpful, a IBAN is generated to enable you pay from your particular place of residence with zero fees. But what you should keep in mind is that you will be paying 10 euros for this subscription plan. So check it on a trial month like I did. Well, recommended.”
“They created a very convenient feature, this is the bunq.me tool. I got sick of sending my payment data to everyone who wants to send me money. Luckily, they came up with a nice tool and I created a link on bunq.me and now I’m using my personal link and sharing it with everyone. Thanks to this, they can just send money to my account fastly. “Works well for me. I would not call it a breakthrough though. By the way,with bunq, you can set up a shared account with any individual not limited to a family member circle. It is quite useful! If you have joint financial issues and you have to find bank bills of certain value to exchange money all the time… Just drop it and use any service like this to start sharing access and forget about tiresome mutual payment settlement. AI-powered FINN is another immensely helpful thing.”

“Man it feels nice to pay with your watch😂 I've got my bunq account (ELITE) and all is well. Got gifted an Apple watch a while ago, I wouldnt buy such thing myself, but as a gift its not half bad😅
So they set up bunq and apple pay to my watch, the card wasnt here yet and I still used to make payments from my watch. Still I useit for mostly miscellaneous payments, but anyway it feels good. Anothere surprising thing is that opening a card was much faster and easier than I thought, it was time consuming in physical branches, but here its couple of clicks.”
