“DO NOT SUBMIT ANY MATERIAL TO THESE THIEVES. I sent in photography photos and ideas for the Calendars I wanted to see realized. They kept my material for their own greed, no emails or phone calls have been returned after 6 months of trying to get an explanation and my property back. F$%king crooks!”
“An Employee made me very uncomfortable.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get his name. I had picked out an item which I was about to purchase, when I saw some people I knew outside the store. I stopped at least 6 feet away from the exit in order to wave at them and say hello. Then I started transferring money into my bank account on my phone. A male employee confronted me and asked if I was planning to buy the item. I told him yes, but he wouldn’t leave me alone. (I was still trying to transfer money into my account) My sister was there with me but he was standing in her way not letting her pass. He followed me all the way to the till and then disappeared. I am very disturbed by this and won’t be returning to this location. He made me extremely uncomfortable. This was at the North Hill location in Calgary Alberta.”
“We live in Kingston Ontario and we bought our calenders from the store in Cataraqui Mall. The service was excellent and the Manager and staff are so helpful and friendly. My husband bought our 4 calenders and had a nice conversation with the Manager”
“Horrible customer service! This is the second time that I have issues with items purchased at Calendar Club Canada resulting in poor customer service.
If my complaint needs to be in queue for more than 3 weeks, without even acknowledging it, then you have too many complaints on your hands - which, in my opinion, doesn't say much for your business. I spoke with the owner Kim on Christmas eve who completely disregarded the fact that an 80$ board game should include game tokens as specified on the packaging. We cannot play the game without tokens! I was told to check at the store the following week.
Over the next week, I left 3 more messages with staff at the Cornwall store who informed me they would text Kim to call me. No call back.
One employee suggested I send a message to customer care on the website. No reply in over 2 weeks. Each day, I call the number provided on business card which goes directly to voice-mail.
Today I decided to reach out to Family Games in Montreal. Thanks to Yvan and François for their impeccable service. They will immediately send tokens via mail so that we may start enjoying our Crokinole game with the appropriate tokens.”
“Wanted to order 4 different calendars. Looked on Calendar Club site, one out of stock (this should have been a clue). Put same 4 calendars in Amazon cart; all available Prime next day. But buy 3 at Calendar Club; get 3rd half off. So ordered the one on Amazon and the three in stock at Calendar Club at the same time; saving a whole $8 total. 12 hours later one I ordered from Amazon was on my front step (super fast; now I was wondering why I didn't just order all 4 from Amazon in the first place). 8 days later I get an email from Calendar Club that my calendars have been delivered. Uh, nope. Canada Post had misrouted or something. Maybe lost, no idea. I contacted Calendar Club; customer service was helpful and nice. I contacted Canada Post; they put in a query. I asked Calendar Club for a refund; and I would simply buy from Amazon. They had to wait until they heard from Canada Post. 2 days later I decided to just order myself from Amazon; can't wait forever for this to resolve itself. Next day 2 of the 3 Amazon calendars were on my front step (3rd was coming in 2 days) plus Calendar Club parcel showed up. I looked at return policy for Calendar Club; I was responsible for shipping back (unlike Amazon; free returns). Shipping would cost me $21; whole order was only $52.50. Decided not worth the work, driving to post office and paying $21 that may not even mean I get my $52.50 back. I tossed the unopened Calendar Club parcel in the recycle bin and an hour later it went to the city dump; unopened to live for eternity in the landfill. (Guess I could have returned the ones to Amazon instead and got a refund; didn't think about that). Kind of good stress relief actually watching the unopened parcel that caused me anguish going unopened to the dump (realistically would be going there in 12 months anyways). So to save $8 it ended up costing me $60 extra for two sets of calendars and a bunch of extra waiting time. Ultimately I had to double buy my calendars this year. Calendar Club was helpful with the issue (don't know why they said I received it when I hadn't). To save a couple of $ I will never, ever order anything from Calendar Club again. Just order from Amazon; will receive immediately, free returns, etc. Sorry, better business models out there to purchase from. Faster and less headaches. The miniscule amount of $ you save isn't worth it...especially when you have to buy your product twice!!”
“There customer service is awful. They NEVER answer the phone and you always have to leave a message. They are not clear about their promotions making them very deceiving BE CAREFUL. I found another place to order their products, cheaper and no shipping charges.”
“You have to really watch when they are doing there buy one get one free. Its a joke unless all 3 things you are buying are the exact price then the 4th is free. I only wanted 3 things the lady said 4th was free, It wqas not free i paid more than i would have if i had just bought the 3 things i wanted. i went to get some money back or exchange it for something else. i had the receipt they would not do it. I have bought from there for years not anymore. the cashiers were rude and this is the kamloops bc store.”
“I placed an order for 2 weekly planners on December 28th and paid for UPS delivery so that I could receive it by January 4th. UPS Standard delivery from Ontario to BC is 3 days. Today is the 8th and no change in tracking information. I called UPS and they told me my package is still in Ontario because Calendar Club did not provide any consignee details when they prepared their shipping label. Really? How can they print a shipping label without any consignee details? And why would UPS accept it like this? I have no words to describe how disappointed I am.”
“I wish I had read the review below before today. My husband ordered me a calendar on Dec. 16 AND paid for UPS delivery (quicker than CDA Post) - a whopping $21 in shipping! It is Jan. 7 and my calendar hasn't moved since the shipping label was created. No calendar 3 weeks later. Calendar Club says not their fault, talk to UPS. So I did. UPS says Calendar Club still needs to arrange for the pick up. Unbelievable. Complete waste of money. We will never order from them again.”
“Delivery is abysmal. Ordered on Dec 5. Shipped on Dec 11. Currently Dec 22 and item has not left Ontario yet. If these items EVER arrive it'll be past their 30 day return. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.”
