Only giving one as can't give lower. Placed an order which was listed as in stock amounting to over £1000, only to receive an email shortly after to state was not going to arrive for over 7 weeks. After multiple emails to cancel my order, I finally got a response saying that my order had been cancelled and the refund was being processed by worldpay, and that there was nothing else they could do. Still waiting over a week and still no refund or communication. Very disappointing.

I had a kitchen fitted in jan 2021, the fitter has made such a bad job,, plus its falling apart, doors have fallen off , all the appliances are cheap and branded with the cable name, hence the noise washing machine is Candy. STAY WELL CLEAR, ITS RUBBISH.

We bought a wine fridge for our new house (model WF1544) which stopped working completely after 2 years. Caple replaced it with a WF1548 with a 2 year guarantee but I took out extended warranty for a further 3 years, ending May 2023. This new wine fridge, WF1548, has now developed a fault after 3 years and Caple won't honour the extended guarantee saying it "ended in 2020". Despite forwarding them the original email confirming the extended warranty they have now gone silent. Appalling quality for an expensive item. Two fridges failing after 2-3 years? Unacceptable. AVOID!!!

Spent £1017.00 on C981G gas hob. It developed an intermittent fault i.e. burners keeps switching off for no reason. Contacted Caple for help, they were not interested as the hob was out of warranty. Very poor aftermarket. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. If I could give the less that 1* rating they would definitely get 0

Had a house built(moved in 2018) and was allowed a budget for the kitchen, was talked into using Caple Hood ( the really expensive one) plus built in Tall Fridge and Freezer. Hood has been a nightmare, Fridge has now gone after 3 years and Freezer is carp. No problems with the 7 NEFF appliances - why oh why did I let them talk me into this carp.

Never never never never buy a Caple appliance. I’ve just spent £1600 plus £180 installation on a replacement wine cooler. The first one conked out after 3 Years. The second one took from February to 9th July to arrive. They damaged the kitchen cabinets, didn’t secure the new one so it wobbled and wasn’t safe. Truly appalling service. The fridge I bought in 2017 conked out after 3 month total rubbish

I was supplied 3 items of Caple by my kitchen supplier. The fridge constantly leaks on the floor, the feezer makes noises like an animal and the shelves are constantly stuck with ice and we have to defrost every 2 months, and finally the wine fridge broke down after 26 months and cost nearly £200 to repair. The repairer, a nominated Caple supplier said it was a common fault with them. Avoid Caple like the plague

I hired a company called SMG Installations to fit in a brand new kitchen with all appliances from Caple;oven, microwave, hop, extractor, dishwasher etc. Kitchen was complete end of October 2020. After 6 months the oven broke switches off completely no lights no clock total black out then switches on after 10 minutes then back off etc. We as a family with 2 kids depend on the oven for meals you know; nuggets and patties etc so contacted them for help as the appliances are still under their warranty they said I need to send the original purchase invoice. I told them I registered all the appliances with them straight after the installation and that I have attached a copy of the warranty regerstration letter with purchase dates and appliances details besides they have all my details in thier system. They replied that they can't process the service request without the original invoice. Now the appliances were purchased by the company that fited the kitchen and so I don't have the invoice and so I am stuck with no oven and not knowing what I can do. Really poor customer service leaving me high and dry when they know that Caple sells mainly through contractors and that I did register the appliances with them and have the registration letter. Why do I need to register the appliances in the first place if I have to keep producing the original invoice every time I have a problem. Really disappointed and upset and even if I find the invoice I will never recommend Caple again.

Avoid. Oven is less than 12 months old and has fallen apart inside. Ordered a new part in January and after constant chasing, now being told it will be delivered in July earliest. 6 months without an oven.

We are just leaving home to purchase a replacement oven. The Caple single built in oven that we bought 3 years ago has failed for the 4th time - on Christmas Day!!! It couldn’t have been a worse end to 2020. We have had the engineer out on roughly a 6 month basis to rectify faults which have been the oven closing mechanism and latterly the oven not turning on, despite power being connected. I’ve completely lost confidence in this brand and would not recommend it . To be fair I am an experienced cook and baker so know my way around an oven . I don’t think that the problem lies in my inability to understand the operation of the oven. The manual is sparse and includes no troubleshooting section so an hour that I shall never have again was spent on Christmas morning trying to locate any support information online. Sadly this failed so the large turkey had to be taken to a family member for cooking. Not ideal given the current tier 3 restrictions.

Please avoid this company , I am regretting my good intentions started with good intentions to use a local and British firm , so i introduced this company to the kitchen fitters who have been excellent, sadly not the products. I had a full kitchen of appliance including a wine fridge, sink and hot tap,extractor,fridge/freezer/ovens and warming draw. I choose the gunmetal finish which looks great but not functional. Two pieces of equipment arrived badly damaged but did get exchanged. The second single oven was also damaged and exchanged again but I am still having condensation issues and yes before they say there is plenty of extraction and circulation. On Friday after 4/5 weeks and 4 combi ovens the engineer left without testing a new thermostat in the 4th combi Which did not work so still unable to use. After more phone calls I was promised a new one on Monday and a visit by their technical manager who was not that helpful a bit of attitude as well. To cut a long story short when tested the oven that had been tested in the factory That morning ! the display settings failed. At this stage I asked them to leave and demanded a refund on the two ovens and warming draw.As in total 8 ovens over 5 weeks not acceptable. How much inconvenience this has caused and stress cannot be measured, also I have the other kitchen appliances in gun metal and now cannot match. However it does not there the sink looks good but after two days had starch marks very noticeable and they got worse. We are two people in the house with a dishwasher both working so it gets very little use , they are saying it is wear and tear which is rubbish. This contradicts their own instructions which says after time you will notice some starches. One week ? my view not fit for purpose so a legal battle may now follow. Before taking to writing this review I ask they sort the problems and that someone in authority call or write. I had been promised this had been passed to a Richard and Danny Lay directors but sadly nothing .

I am late writing this but am feeling so annoyed with my Caple gas hob that I just have to say something ! I take responsibility for buying the thing but have found it is SO badly designed. The switches could have been in the centre of the ‘control’ area, but no, 4 of them are to the right and the end one is so near the burner, you need an oven glove to turn that burner off. The wok burner works well but why oh why wasn’t it designed so that you can have both burners on or just the small central one ? Our last Smeg hob had that feature and I will replace my Caple with another brand soon. Who gas designed this ? Someone who has never cooked !

Had anew kitchen with Caple appliances. Pretty much every appliance has had to have an engineer out to fix it. Lucky they are still in warranty so have had no issues in getting them fixed. However once out of warranty it will be a different story. I am gearing up to replace the appliances with a decent make.

Bought a new kitchen and fitted mid 2018. All caple white goods. Have already replaced the double oven with a bosch. This was because even if it had been repaired the oven was so rubbish I wouldn't want it anyhow. There is currently waiting replacement the induction hob with an AEG. Again I wouldnt want to bother with this caple brand. The dishwasher has always since installation made a noise but on top of that it has never cleaned properly so given up on that! The fridge freezer currently works but an extreme amount of water collects in the fridge so that could be me operating it incorrectly in fairness but please dont think you are getting a good deal as it costs twice as much in the long run.. shocking!

Had a new kitchen fitted in June 2016 & were persuaded by the company to include a full range of Caple products, what a mistake. Had microwave/combination oven replaced 5 months later, along with the main oven. Light and rubber seal around the microwave door no longer work. The dishwasher racks have gone rusty and spokes have broken off. The freezer drawers have cracked and split. Food doesn't seem to freeze as much as it should. Parts of the shelves have come away in the fridge. My advice? Don't buy anything made by Caple.

The builders put a Caple dishwasher in our new house. It died on Christmas Eve (handy with a house full of people) it was exactly 3 years old. It has been replaced by a Bosch, it is quieter, and has more programmes. I wouldn't touch Caple again.

bought an ex display hob and it broke down in less than a month. hob costs a grand and I have tried to get the broken one fixed but I had to pay for all the shipping and the repair and in the end they'll offer no garantee on the fix. they offered the newer model at a trade price and decided to go for that one to have the warranty. bought it, paid 800 pounds, got it home and when I tried it I noticed it's a different size and leaves a big gap in the counter. they don't have the older model anymore so the only option is to buy another kitchen. don't know what to do still
