“After shopping around and considering numerous platform bed options, Carolina Leg Co. was the winner. Though I had never heard of the company prior to my search, its history and reviews convinced me to give them a try. Most importantly, the fact that the bed we purchased is custom made of poplar hardwood made the difference. Though coming in at a higher price point than it’s largely metal competitors, the bed is well made, assembly is straight forward, and it is STURDY. I did not trust the metal counterparts I considered from other companies to be trustworthy in their descriptions.
Finally, customer service at CLC was excellent from order to assembly. Though we did have two of twenty-four bolts with stripped start threads, CLC was quick to send me 4 or 5 replacements via overnight express.. All in all, I would highly recommend CLC from my experience with this bed purchase.”

“I ordered two Hartford platform beds for our new cabin. I love the simplistic clean look. They are very nice quality and not difficult to put together. Most of the pieces were nicely sanded, but there were some that are a little rough. It would have been inconvienent to stop and sand as we were assembleing, so we just continued and the beds are actually fine. My only suggestion would be more sanding for a smoother finish. Other than that, I am very happy with my pruchase and would order again in the future. Love that they are made in the USA!”
