I was mis-sold a product and they are trying not to help me. Do not purchase from carphone warehouse!

The customer service I have received from this company is borderline farcical. A phone sold by this company was tested by Apple who stated in writing that it was “dead”, we returned it to Carphone Warehouse where it was purchased and they sent it off to their repair team. A week later I was advised by text that the phone would be back within 48 hours at the store. I took time off work after this period to visit the store only to be advised that the phone had not been returned. The store at the Harlequin in Watford attempted to contact their repair department but they were unable to track the phone. I’m now waiting for someone to contact me but this seems unlikely with the level of chaos I’m experiencing. I have now made countless attempts to speak to the customer relations team and repair team with no success, unbelievable inefficiency!The message is clear for me...never use this company again.

Ordered S7 edge on Black Friday. They cancelled the order for an unknown reason after 5 days waiting for it. Now I'm waiting 10 days for my refund. Joke of the matter was the offered me £50 off if I wanted to buy it full price (which was £200 more expensive). Never using them again. Spread the word.

Never use click & collect with this useless outfit. Purchased a sim free iphone on Thursday, knowing I'd be out on Friday so chose to collect at my local pc world/currys/carphone warehouse. Issue 1 - received email saying it wouldn't arrive until Saturday. Not a major issue. Issue 2 - when going to pick it up the phone had "disappeared " even though I had an email saying it had been delivered by DPD. They eventually found it after I suggested the police be called as it had to have been stolen. Issue 3 - main issue, they then tried the hard sell for insurance, and refused to give me the phone I'd already paid for until i provided my post code, which I refused to do as they had no need for it because I wasn't taking their over priced cover. This ended in a mexican stand off where i gave them a made up postcode, making a mockery of their "security check". Attitude was disgraceful when exposing their blatant personal info trawl. Never again!!

Same as others have reported, ordered Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on Black Friday for £370 which was also available from John Lewis at the time for the same price. Got an email to say delivery may take up to 2 weeks because of it was Out of Stock, then a subsequent email telling me the order was cancelled. Disgusting behaviour. Avoid.

Do not use this company! I bought a phone in the black friday sale which was going to be delivered on the next day according to the email. My phone didnt arrive but i assumed it was because of the black friday rush. A week after i purchased the phone i got a text message simply saying due to 'stock availability' you order has been cancelled and you will receive your refund in up to 10 days. So i have had £370 out of my account for a week just to be told that i will no longer receive my phone. If it is due to 'stock availability' why not just wait until the phone is back in stock! It seems like a scam to me. I could have used another supplier and had no problems. I wish i did because now i have missed a chance of buying this phone at a reduced price. What type of company takes your money and doesnt gives you anything in return? Well let me answer that for you, carphone does so avoid buying anything from this nasty company amd get better and safer deals somewhere else.

Exactly the same experience as Beth in the previous review. I would also like to add that they debited my credit card on Friday for over £700 and I’ve been told that my refund is waiting and I should let them know how I would like to receive it , either by cheque or returned to my card - and that it will take up to 10 days to process. I was informed that selecting click and collect meant that the phone had to come from web stock, even though the option to check stock in my local store was visible on the web order page - very misleading and far from transparent. I placed my order early Friday morning while other retailers had the phones in stock at the same discounted price (I mistakenly thought that Carphone Warehouse was a reputable retailer) and had they sent an email to say that they could not fulfil the order (and not taken the money from my card) instead of what now appears to have been a holding email, I could have ordered elsewhere. I too plan to take this further as it seems to be a case of sharp practice at best if not downright dishonesty - I wonder how much money they will be refunding.

No regard to customer service or business etiquette. I bought a sim free phone on Black Friday which was in stock. I then got told it's not actually in stock so will have to wait 2 weeks. A few days later I was told my order was cancelled because I didn't collect my phone within 14 days - firstly it had been 5 days, secondly I was told not to collect it because it was not in stock! After hours on the phone with the useless call centres, they still claim it is not their fault and no one is able to tell me WHY my order was cancelled! I plan to take this further due the number of legal violations that have occurred. Never again will I use carphone warehouse!

just got back from my first and last visit to carphone warehouse Just went in to buy a samsung J5 2017 handset only with the cash in my hand. "Yes we have one left but obviously I can't let you have that in case someone wants one on contract, I can get you one for tomorrow or you can get one from our shop in meadowhall (15 miles away)" Well they just lost a quick sale and a possible regular customer and they know where they can stick their last phone

Went there to buy one of their phones im pay as you go tariff owner every 6 months can upgrade my phone means can buy without sim when find out its not 6 months since my last purchase decided to take that phone with one of their sim deals and two miserable ladies working there told i won't get it because first i want upgrade it and now i want with sim that means im layer and for sure will throw away sim card because want get phone cheaper they treat me like criminal when call carephone online service been told that is nothing wrong with thst whst i want to do and they dont understand the way of thinking this two sellers working there

These people are so disrespectful and unprofessional I am struggling to find the words to describe that! They send you an email to say your order has been accepted and you will receive you phone on this date but then fail to deliver it, when you call to find out what happens and spend on hold 36 minutes to even speak to a live person, they then tell you that your order has been cancelled because you did not pass some security stuff - excuse-me?! - could you not let the customer know so they don't have to call themselves and speak to the worst operators later to find out this? I could have purchased a phone on black Friday sale from someone else but because CarphoneWarehouse 'care' about their customers so much that they don't even inform you about your purchase just say they took your money... And after another line hold for 25 minutes I was told I was transferred to the wrong department, then I specifically asked the guy not to put me on hold and what he did - put me on hold again... How is this even possible in this day and age? I wish everyone just stopped buying from them so they cold finally understand the value of their own customers and start treating people with respect.

The phone was faulty but they refused to believe what happened and said something must have fallen on the phone even after I told them I witnessed the screen cracking whilst I was browsing. and there customer service is beyond terible

Terrible company, terrible customer services, avoid at all costs. I ordered a new phone through them and after receiving an email to say at it had arrived, they took my money, and after one of their customer services team told me it was ready for collection i went to collect it, only to be told it had not arrived. I don't know if someone in the company stole the phone or they are just totally incompetent.

I had very bad experience with carphones warehouse sales team in nuneaton . They got clues about deal every salesman and salesgirl different about the deal very lazy and rude with the customers management should take again the nuneaton sales team
