“New plate ordered for new private reg, quality was good and arrived eventualy but not same day depatch as advertised. Received no reply by email and no one ever answered the phone even after repeated attempts on different days and times. Website clearly states SAME DAY DESPATCH and speedy delivery but in my experience this was not the case. we states 4.9 stars but trustpilot level is 3.6. 3 Stars only as whilst they are good plates and fair cost but the Customer service and website info and ratings is marketing hype and not a reflection on my experience”

“Bought the plates direct from carplates paid £9.99 for express delivery took 6 days to arrive I had sold my car and had to go to local motor factor and get some made,messaged carplates and got nonsense,express delivery is not 6 days!!!!!”

“Easy to order But trying to make contact with the company after is difficult. No one available to speak to left 3 voicemails and then online chat as was missing the fixing fit I paid for. Was advised on live chat it would posted out in 48 hours 3 days later and still awaiting. Very disappointing”

“Quick service, decent price and good product but would it really kill you to send 4 black caps with the fixing kit rather than 2? The fixing points on my Ford Puma all land within the black! Emailed them about this but no reply.”

“Plates were fine once they arrived. However I would guard against paying the higher delivery cost of £9.99. By definition the description of the £6.99 delivery cost,..."2 -4 working days", suggests the £9.99 fee might be a 'next day' delivery which is definitely not the case. So in summary, the plates look ok but only pay the £6.99 for delivery.”

“We still have not recieved the order yet. The courier company has delayed the delivery and we have not recieved an update of when we will recieve the delivery. Can you please inform the courier comapny Evri that the dlevery is for a bussiness and the opening hours are 8am to 4pm.”

“Nothing wrong with the product or service but the website configurator defaults to "custom plates". Despite sticking with the other defaults of standard lettering and as propmted, ensuring the space in the numerals is in the correct place, I obviously missed the little box I should have clicked on to get "legal style" and ended up with illegal plates being delivered without the BS markings. I did email the company to express my disappointment and unfortunately they never even bothered replying.”

“I received the plates very promptly. They appear well made. I ordered the fitting kit which came inside the package. The only issue I have is how do you fit them with no holes drilled?”

“The plates are ok but my only negative is that the order system defults to "show Plates" so as I did it very easy to overlook this, if you rearly order, you then recive plates that are not road leagal. If I was sinical I might think this was deliberate to gain repeat order as the majority of order must be for road leagal. My mistake granted so hope this review helps others from falling foul as I did.”

“I was expecting plates to the relevant British standard; I may have missed something during ordering but the plates I got had none of the required identifiers or the BS mark. Delivery was quick .”
