“Whilst the new plate appears to have been manufactured quickly, it was lost by Evri. Nobody answered the phone at Plates Direct which was frustrating. An E mail was eventually answered and a replacement plate was delivered 13 days after the original order.”
“Quality of plate, good - no problems there. I ordered a standard UK rear plate, no fancy lettering or borders, for use on a trailer. Ordered as per the website instructions, hours before 2pm and chose Express Delivery. This was the Thursday morning as I needed it for a trailer for the following Sunday. I expected Express delivery would mean it would arrive by Saturday.
The weekend came and went and I had to do the journing with a hand-written plate on the trailer, not ideal at all. The following Wednesday (a week after ordering) the pate arrived. Funnily enough, the day I got back from the 1200 mile round trip. Hardly what you'd call "express delivery". I emailed Car Plates Direct about it and the response was a one-liner, "Sorry we do not sell a guranteed timeframe delivery service."
I think if you check your website again, you'll see you do. Very disappointing customer service. I gave them a chance to offer me a refund between the 'express' service and normal service but nothing has been forthcoming, not even an acknowledgement of my email, so here's the poor review.
My advice, don't bother with express delivery if you're desperate for a plate, it's not worth the additional money.”

“Production time and product excellent, paid £9.99 for 24 hour express delivery, which unfortunately and unknown at the time was via Evri. They were terrible with no updates. If I'd known who was to deliver I would've paid £12.99 for Royal Mail 24 hour signed for.”

“Ordered a set 4D plates 2 years ago and one of the digits has fallen off so I ordered a set of gel plates which have been delivered despite using EVRI as the courier, I then read on the website that all plates come with a 3 year guarantee, however it seems that even though a digit has fallen off manufacturing defects are only covered for the first 12 months, so the next 24 months only guarantee the plates against being noisy or suffering from damp or possibly self combusting, I can't quite think what else could go wrong with a number plate that isn't a manufacturing defect and there customer services don't have an answer either, so buyer beware and look for a supplier that honours the warranty advertised, I for sure won't be back.”

The delivery company "Evri" continue with poor delivery performance and lack of credable delivery information - Avoid using them!!!”
