“I ordered a set of plates with the fixing pack and paid for priority delivery. I received an email within a day to advise that the plates were manufactured. Then another to advise that they had been despatched. Great, except not so great. EVRI lost the parcel so I contacted you to ask for assistance with chasing EVRI. I got a curt response from Sophie Clarke to say no liablilty for delays. That wasn't what I asked but I didn't get a reply to my follow-up. My parcel eventually arrived (after much chasing with EVRI) on the 11th May - 10 days late - so much for priority but I guess that's EVRI. We were away and on Friday 15th returned and opened the package to find the plates but no fitting kit. I phoned you at 13:55 and left a message - you never answer the phone and you never returned the call. I emailed at the same time requesting a refund for the missing fitting kit but have not yet received a reply. If you want to stay in business you really ought to sought your customer service out. I will be posting this on TrustPilot to join the others with a similar view of your service. Needless to say, I will not be recommending your business.”

“Bought plates for 70 and paid 9.99 for express delivery and haven’t received anything it’s been two weeks now and nothing. No confrontation entail or even tracking. Tried to contact seller and there’s no contact number only a email address which you don’t get a reply from. Absolutely joke and a total rip off, wish I had read the reviews before I bought.”

“A month has passed since I placed the order , I've called numerous times and nobody answers the phone. I've sent numerous emails and had no response. I've had numerous online chats with a robot who is always very aplogetic and assures me that somebody will be in touch but still no contact and no plates. I've emailed again today and asked for a refund as I'll just buy the plates elsewhere”

“They refused to supply a vat invoice and say this was only possible for businesses who paid via paypal, we need this for company accounts and legally a vat invoice should be supplied, they refused to then reply.”

“Not good! I ordered the number plate with premium delivery and it wasn’t delivered. I then complained and they said they sent me a replacement and i’m still waiting for it. apparently they’ve sent it with premium delivery but i’ve still been waiting 4 days.”

“Absolutely incredulous that I get asked to review my purchase when I’ve still not received the goods. Order placed before the 1pm cut off for express delivery, paid the additional cost for express delivery and 4 working days later no sign of my number plate. Just lots of emails telling me it has been manufactured that it gone astray that it’s out for delivery, tracking link does not work so no idea where the plate is or when I might see it. Hands down the poorest shopping experience I’ve ever had.”

“Do not trust Car Plates Direct. I have not received my plates. No one returns my tele calls. No response to my email. The TrustPilot rating on Car Plates Direct website is overstated compared to TrustPilot site. DO NOT TRUST OR BUY PLATES FROM CAR PLATES DIRECT.”

“I ordered a number plate then immediately cancelled it. I received a message saying that it was okay, the order had been cancelled, and no payment would be taken. However, a payment of £22.85 was taken from my account and despite all my best efforts to contact Car Plates Direct I have not received a refund.”

“Terrible service. Waited a week for number plate, still not arrived, which delayed the sale of my motorcycle. Wasted soo much time trying to speak to someone at the company and speaking to the useless bot! Sent Numerous e mails with no response to my requests. Eventually e mailed three times now requesting a full refund and am still awaiting a response, no refund. My advice is give this company a wide berth 😞”

“Ordered with plenty of notice and provided required docs at same time paid extra for express for next day dispatch, 2 days pass with no mention of dispatch contacted and they agreed to refund due to not being dispatched when paid for and then email regarding manufacture received and plates received days later”
