“I use Car Rentals all the time, and I am very happy with the service provided. They give good overview of the prices on the market and most of the time allow to find the best deal. Once you are redirected to the provider or another search engine you are on your own. Alhtough most of the time this work fine with me, I had some issues in the past due to realibility of these other search engines i.e. Cafe del Mar and/or the offered by them car hire service providers like easirent.com(avoid no matter the price). You could stick to well known car hire brands, but then carrentals.co.uk does not always have best deals. I recommend the site!”

“Generally easy to use and almost always has the most competitive prices. As with all comparison sites, you've got to check that the options being shown are at the precise location you want but that's not a carrentals.co.uk specific problem. I use this site regularly.”

“Excellent car hire at very competitive rate. Only negative comment that we rented via Interrent but due to late arrival, their cabin at Gatwick South Terminal was closed. By luck, went to Europcar who helped without problems. Choice of two cars. Fast and good service.”

“Everything was fine, including a free upgrade from the booked Focus/Golf size to a Volvo V40 Automatic. My one doubt is that I had to return the vehicle at 5.00am and leave it unattended and place the keys in a box. I know that the vehicle was returned as it was received, but I must wait, how long? before I know that the hirer is not claiming that something was not as it should be. Apart from that concern, I was very pleased with the vehicle and the company representative I dealt with.”

“was very easy to book. Only thing is that when it asked for the flight number there wasn't a place to add arrival and departure time so it set both times to 10am and then I had to amend booking, pay another 8 euros (cause I had to select another car) and re-enter card details etc. These should be asked for at the”

“Booking & car were fine but charging for a tank of petrol is little short of a scam. Very few people will use a full tankful and the charge made is more than it would take to fill the tank. I accept that this is given in the contract, but I am sure most would prefer to pay for the fuel they actually use.”

“I have a UK driving licence but am currently living abroad. This is a problem when companies ask for recent bank statements and utility bills as proof of UK residence. There does not seem to be a way around this and it leaves people relying on the discretion of the person drawing up the contract or their line manager. I would prefer to hire a car without this uncertainty. Thanks.”
