“The booking process straightforward. The final point of car pick-up (at Stansted Hilton & not at the Airport terminal car hire venue) not stated until payment completed [I believe]. Would have preferred to avoid shuttle to & from Airport terminal.”

“Booked car from China. Last minute trip and didn't have time to book before. This was one of the few sites that actually managed to get me a quote without a "Waiting for Site . . ." message. Not exactly the fault of the other sites, just down to Chinese Internet restrictions, monitoring, etc I suspect. Used 121CarHire.com for my booking as I have used them before (I need an A to B return) and they're one of the few that quote up front with the A to B cost included. Their extra insurance is also very competitive, as is their price for the companies they use. Went through CarRentals.co.uk rather than going direct, because I wasn't able to load pages directly from 121. CarRentals.co.uk was probably the fastest site I tried for booking from China - and I tried quite a few ! Most of the big names at least. Not all loaded but those that did were just not competitive enough with their pricing.”

“My only negative comment would be that I wasn't told that the pre-paid excess that would be put on my credit card, when collecting my car, would be CHD 3000 (£2000) until after I went through the booking process. Maybe this could be mentioned earlier in the booking.”

“I was quite pleased with supply of more information during booking in order to prevent disappointments by taking a necessary action in advance of vehicle collection. The website as well is user-friendly.”

“The booking was simple and easy. The price of the car was the best I could find. THe only downside is that this time I have to get a bus from the airport terminal to the marriot hotel which is a bit of a pain. I wouldn't have booked this is I had known.”

“I have annual excess waiver cover and got fed up with being asked to buy this at every stage. There should be a box to click so you don't get nagged?”
