“I have given this review as good and that is for the website accessibility and ease of use. I have not yet received my car and so cannot comment on the service there (until 24th September) however, the website was straight forward to use and laid out nicely.”

“The only thing I was a little annoyed about was that after having made the booking and paid, the system then advised me that as I was living in Malaysia I was unable to benefit from insuring against the 'excess' in respect of accidents/theft etc...This is something I always do. I am a UK citizen traveling on a UK passport so don't really see what the fact that I happen to live in Kuala Lumpur has to do with my perceived risk profile for such cover? It would be good to have an explanation as next time it might be better for me to tell a 'white lie' about where I live!!!”

“Reasonably simple, BUT I would have liked more details E.G. I want an additional driver but the site doesn't tell you how much this will cost. It could be an unexpected shock when we pick up the car!”

“I think the excess waiver is a little confusing - on first reading you assume that the excess waiver is included in the price but it is not and also the way the final details for payment are displayed could confuse.”

“THE SITE WAS SO EASY TO USE,SO WHEN WE BOOKED WITHIN 5 MINS WE HAD OUR CONFIRMATION.EXCESS INSURANCE WAS A GOOD PRICE FOR THE PEACE OF MIND IT GIVES.”

“Very competitive and easy to use. Only comment relates to the insurance facility to cover the Rental Companies Excess. There is no doubt that the facility offered on the Carrentals site is far more competitive than taking it direct with the Car Hire Company but it is still cheaper to arrange on your own. I obtained annual cover via the AA for less than Carrentals wanted for the 10 day hire.”
