“We went to buy a Dacia at a price that was advertised in the dealership, but soon found out the price was incorrect. Apparently, the advert had been up for weeks, yet no one noticed? We were told we couldn’t buy the car at the advertised price.
We then looked at a different spec of car, and that’s when the problems really began:
Application form filled out incorrectly.
They lost the copy of my driving licence.
Car was promised for delivery Tuesday — it didn’t arrive. Then we were told Thursday of the following week.
The day before, we got a call saying the car wouldn’t be ready until November — unless we accepted a different colour, which they could do by Friday.
Throughout, there was a lot of miscommunication within the team, including from the sales manager.
Most of the staff came across as quite arrogant, and overall the process was frustrating and unprofessional.
The only positive in the whole experience was Tom, a young member of staff who had only just started. From the beginning, Tom was supportive, genuine, and helpful. If it wasn’t for him, we probably wouldn’t have bought the car at all. When we finally picked the car up, Tom was the one who dealt with us, and everything went smoothly — the way it should have been from the start.
The other staff should take example from Tom. He’s a credit to the dealership, and the reason this review isn’t 100% negative.”
