"***Please Read this before considering purchasing from Cars2***\r\n\r\nLast week I spent almost \u00a320K at Cars2 Barnsley on a 69 plate BMW 4 series convertible. 2 previous owners, the spec I\u2019d been seeking and very low miles.\r\nSupposedly had a Used car check, MOT and Service on 4\/11\/25 all done by Cars2 with the mileage at that time being 24,624.\r\n\r\nI test drove the car on 22\/01\/26 and I noted the Sat Nav wasn\u2019t working, Rear Tyres seemed to have low tread and a vibrating noise on acceleration. I was assured all matters would be resolve prior to me collecting.\r\n\r\nI was told rear Tyres were minimum 4mm as per their policy. \r\n\r\nI ended up telling their mechanics what was causing vibrations as apparently their mechanics could not hear the noise (it was a small broken part) and I was told the Sat Nav would work if I paid BMW \u00a380 for the maps App.\r\nIn reality\u2026 \r\n\r\n2 days after collecting the BMW (mileage now 24,640) it cost me \u00a3200 to get the Sat Nav to work, it\u2019s had 25 litres of water drained from the rear panels (\u00a3100 cost to me), it has a rear differential leak (\u00a3145 to repair) and 3 of the 4 tyres were damaged. \r\n\r\nI took the car for an MOT 5 days after I purchased it as I just didn\u2019t trust Cars2 mechanics and it failed!!!!!!!\r\n\r\nCars2 customer service was absolutely appalling. The car was purchased with Goodyear run flats on it\u2026 they wanted to pay for a cheap tyres to replace them. I refused and demanded branded tyres.\r\n\r\nThe battle went on for almost a week and only when I \u2018Rejected\u2019 the car FINALLY Cars2 offered me \u00a3600 to cover 3 new tyres and the Rear Diff repair.\r\n\r\nI ended up paying for the 4th tyre so I\u2019m out of pocket again (\u00a3164).\r\n\r\nThe car itself is a lovely car. It\u2019s the appalling service from Cars2 that\u2019s the issue.\r\n\r\nI doubt a decent MOT was ever done and their Used car check must have been done by a mechanic with poor sight and hearing!\r\n\r\nI have pointed out to Cars2 that it is a criminal offence to sell a car that is dangerous! See section 75 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and they Breached the Consumer Act 2015.\r\n\r\nThe fact they allowed me to drive 134 miles home with dangerous tyres\u2026.. (one had a bulge, one has been Ran Flat and one rear tyre was only 2.8mm) is unforgivable and then to resist rectifying the issues leave them behaving worse than a dodgy back street car seller!!\r\n\r\nPlease Please Please have a good think before buying a car from Cars2.\r\n\r\n**Look at the Trust Pilot Reviews**\r\n\r\nSorry to say that I can only describe them as a bunch of cowboys!!"
