I would never order from this company again. Had to pay over £16 to return two items - a cat and a dog flap by Royal Mail/Parcel Force - because catflaps.co.uk does not offer any kind of free returns. Avoid

I am sorry but I'm unable to give you a rating!!! This is because I have not received my item also I would like to say that when I placed my order I was not given how long delivery would be!! This did seem a little strange

Very large for my Tibetan terrier, who is not even two. Also will it stop him barking if a burglar got in

None of my dogs were strong enough to actually push through the flap and the noise terrified all three of them. If a Staffordshire bull terrier cannot access the door a standard Yorkshire terrier and a Chihuahua certainly cannot. Sales desk very unhelpful. Said I could spend another £60 on battery pack otherwise leave electric cables across my floor to reach plug. Information on original website definitely does not state needs socket right by door. Rubbish, so disappointed as I picked what I thought was the best one.

Could have got them a lot cheaper off ebay and the postage for something so small was astronomical.

I have never had such bad customer service in my life! Placed an order online for an item which was showing as in stock. Had a confirmation email. Then had No further communication. Delivery was delayed by 2 weeks and not one person had the decency to informe me. When I emailed I had the bluntest reply with no apology. No offer of a refund or partial refund. Not even a sorry! Then when the delivery did eventually make it (they use Yodel couriers) the box was squashed as there was no protective wrapping. Still not had a sorry. Not had a further reply to my email or Facebook message. Would not recommend and would avoid at all costs! Quick to take my money but not quick to resolve issues their customers have.

Sad and very disappointed to say that the Catflap I bought in December does not live up to expectations: in fact, I am seriously thinking of taking the matter to Consumer Trading for misleading and frankly incorrect description. After having both my cats microchipped and correctly installing the flap and registering the cats, I find that the rogue neighbourhood cat (the reason why I upgraded the catflap in the first place) can easily open the flap from the outside with his claws! I rang your company about this and spoke to a very nice lady, who said, yes, such cats are known as "flap-lifters" and nothing can be done about this. In which case, your catflap is simply not fit for purpose, i.e. it does NOT keep unregistered cats out. Because of this, my cats can no longer use the catflap and I have to keep it permanently locked. What a shocking waste of money. The other annoying point is that, despite the advertising blurb saying that the batteries should last for about a year "with normal use", I found that the first (correct sort) batch lasted just under a month, and the second lot just over a month: as both cats refused to use the flap (on seeing the rogue cat coming and going freely) I hardly see this as "normal use" so changing the batteries is actually costing 12 times more a year. Again, misleading and incorrect information which really should be addressed on your literature. On the whole, a very expensive and unsatisfactory experience.

I have been waiting for a response for nearly a week. I ordered a product, received a text saying it was delivered. Nothing was posted, checked neighbours nothing was delivered to them. When ordered, i didn't receive a tracking number. Money has been taken out of me account, tried emailing CatFlaps and have had no response. Not happy.

Dog flap not suitable for my Westie. Door flap too heavy. Fell down and hit her back. Trip to vets needed and company wint return flap or provide refund!

Ordering was fine . The only problem I had was the delivery from a very rude woman , not acceptable at all yodel it was .im a courier and have been for 15 years and never would speak to customers as she did me absolute disgrace ,

The infra red cat flap we recently purchased does not work - the bulb and the infra red mechanism on the cat flap do not register with each other. I have requested an exchange.

On discovering I had ordered the wrong item I emailed info@catflaps.co.uk not once but twice to ask if I could send exchange my order for the correct item. I'm still waiting on a reply.

Very disappointed with customer service. After a week of waiting for dispatch of my goods, sent and email, no response. Called the shop and heard that they out of stock. So shop is not updating it stock on website. Had no courtesy to inform of any delays either. Anyway they promises that they will have that delivered in next two days and will dispatch then. Another lie. Decided to open case on Paypal. No reply from the shop. £ days latter dispatched without any apologies at all.
