This was a replacement for one that was damaged, so obviously I like the product. However, your directions pretty much suck....and based on the comments I saw when looking for a u-tube video to help, I'm not alone in that assessment. Mounting & installation are straight forward, but programing with the buttons is confusing and using a phone isn't much better. I'm 73, so what may be what is intuitive for someone younger isn't for me. After a lot of trial and error, and a fair amount of frustration, I got it where I wanted it. It could have been easier with clearly written sequential instructions that were in print large enough to read. For the record, I have a technical background in aviation and I've seen complicated instructions for commercial airline navigation systems that were better written.

Hi, recent purchase of a CatEye Padrone-+ cycling computer. Unfortunately, and this is the second time with a CatEye computer........if you have a NightRider light mounted on your handlebars near the computer.......then you have to choose what is more important Light, or information from the computer such as how fast am I going. Basically, there is electronic interference from the light so that the computer can no longer tell you speed etc. This is a repeat episode for this combination (last Cateye lost a sender, that you can't replace, so the computer is dead in the water.....why don't they sell replacement speed sensors?). Anyway, both Nightrider and Cateye need to figure out how to play together, or shield their electronic noise from each other. Computer is otherwise simple to put on the bike and to use.

I’ve been a rider since the late 80’s and early 90’s, and Cateyes have always been my go to computer. Since I took it back up a year ago-they we’re my first choice. Now I’m not so sure. The selection seems somewhat limited for those of us on a budget, and what we can get isn’t very thrilling. I have the Padrona Stealth edition, and though the unit works well enough, it’s kind of hard to see, and if I’m being completely honest-kinda ugly. Time to look for other options, I think.

I love my Padrone. It was simple to install. The screen is easy to read while cycling and programming is straightforward. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that my initial purchase went flying off when I hit a pothole and was immediately obliterated by a passing truck. I was able to get a discount on a replacement from Cateye after contacting them. When I installed the replacement, I realized that you have to push it HARD to get it to properly click into place, which the directions didn't emphasize.
