Installation work was satisfactory. Lack of written instruction leaflet or booklet leaves me feeling dis- satisfied. Awaiting delivery of ev so cannot comment on using charge point.

The charging unit works great. HOWEVER the app for it is possibly the worst app I’ve used in years. Sometimes can’t even sign in. It duplicates charging sessions in the account and also stores the wrong charge session length - apparently I charged my car for 99 hours during my first week.

Lots of proactive phone calls, but a confusing process, queries on emails and photographs. Glad it’s fitted now so that it’s over with. The fitter was great, however nobody pointed out to me that charging lead wouldn’t be long enough - so I have a hidden cost for an extender cable.

Impossible to use advance mode without having to mess around unplugging the cable and turning the main switch on and off!! Very disappointed in the Chargemaster. Although I have recommended it to two other people who hopefully will have better luck?

Charger seems ok. No probs though only had it 2 weeks. The rubbish part is the app. It’s very basic and seems to wrongly show charging info. Please improve the app !!!!

Decent product and service from the guys on the phone and the installer. But:- Too many regular chase up calls. Awkward photo and document process. Charge cable is not long enough and was not properly explained, this will end up costing me a hidden £144 for an extension lead.

Following the supply of the appendix information I had to call at least three times to get an answer about when the installation would be completed. Although we knew we needed another consumer unit we didn’t know it was to be installed outside of the main electrical box or indeed not adjacent to the internal main consumer unit. We were also not aware that an earthing rod was to be installed. The engineer firstly wanted to install this onto the surface of the drive which would have caused a trip hazard and we had to insist that this was not acceptable. The installation was eventually completed satisfactory.

Think you should send someone round to check everything in check before you send ur engineer lot of messing around to get mine installed

Overall the unit is acceptable. Time to install was excellent. The negative part is the earth rod was drilled through a drive paving stone and not placed under it, so I have an unsightly black box 8 inches out from a walkway wall. Also, the unit was located too close to a drain pipe and thus the tether is not able to be wound around the unit without bending the plastic drain pipe. No instructions were left with teh unit - still not sure how to connect it into WiFi, if I can at all.

The booking of the installation and the actual installation were very good. However the Chargevision software and the Smartcharge app are both probably at beta stage and are not for for purpose. The data might tell me that I have charged for about 2 hours and used 6.33kWh. The next entry will be for the same time of day, with a a charge duration of a few seconds and a charge of 6.33kWh. I have had one set of data that told me I had charged for two hours and used 2.44kWh and then that I had charged for a few seconds and the charge was 5.71kWh. I have reported this to Chargemaster Customer Services but they haven't replied. It would also be helpful if there were some customer instructions, for example, what action to take when the red triangle is illuminated.

Rather a difficult and frustrating process. Conflicting specification requirements from Charge master and the power supplier led to a protracted installation process. The finished Charge point and electrical supply are great. Communication was good and prompt response.

I've not used the charger as yet since my car is not yet delivered, but the installation was carried out by a really friendly and efficient engineer. He arrived on time, and was very courteous throughout.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The process was very long-winded. The limitations of charger location (near objects that conduct) should be communicated much better before the process begins (ie not near a water tap, down-pipe, light-fitting, etc.). Also, the upgrade of electrical circuits was not clear. The small print might be fine for an electrician but not easily understood by a lay-person. Also, the charge master website is really difficult to use and not user-friendly.

Very quick initial response but then lost installation photos and details. Had to chase several times and get dealership involved before proceeding. Electrician who fitted charger was very good.
