“The soup is good. The Lobste Bisque has big chunks of meat that make it well worth the price. It's really good soup, don't get me wrong ... However, I cant help but taste the difference between frozen and fresh seafood meat. It's good soup made with top-end ingrediants in full force, but ... it has to be frozen in order to mail it to you. I enjoyed it greatly as Im about two hours away from a Red Lobster, but it's similar in price and the extra chunks of meat only partly make up for the fact that it is frozen before you get it.”
“Best chocolate cake I have ever eaten. A perfect balance between cake and icing. Also very colorful and did not crumble when cut. This is a big cake for cutting into 8-10 servings. Wish it was available in a smaller size. Took a long time for 2 of us to finish it, but it held up well in the refrigerator once I thawed it per your instructions”
“I've ordered the Perfect Crab Cakes (and they are perfect) and the Vanilla-Bourbon Bacon Lollipops from Chesapeake Bay several times. I decided to try several new items -- Louisiana Gumbo, Pork Schnitzel -- and they were equally good. The Gumbo provided a generous amount of product, enough for at least 4 people to have a large bowl. I will continue to experiment with new food items because I have not been disappointed yet.
I cannot say enough good things about the food products I have already ordered. And the preparation instructions were very, very helpful.”
“This review is on the Robin's egg chocolate cake. Cake was well packaged. Styrofoam box with dry ice inside the box still frozen when opened. Was home when cake was delivered. Serving cake at a family dinner on Sunday as I had it delivered January 6. Came a day early, that's ok. See photos below. Frosting came off in chunks when sliced, cake was dry. Very disappointed. Most family didn't eat. Pricey cake for what I received.
