NOT A RELIABLE SERVICE!! I brought an outfit for a gift and I received an email ghe next day to say it had been dispatched. 3-5 days had passed so I got in touch to be told there is a problem in my area with the courier company and they will keep an eye on it and update me everyday. I had to keep chasing as I was hoping to give this as a birthday gift! I then placed an another order in panic so that I receive it on time. I then receive an email after trying to get in touch with them several times to say the item was out of stock so they lied about it being with the courier and that the courier had a problem in the area as the item was never even dispatched if it was out of stock?’!! I then relied on my second order hoping I would get this in time for the birthday I had to them receive an email to say this was also out of stock a day before I had the birthday party! Absolutely shocking service. Really need to sort out your system to show how much stock you actually have instead of blaming the courier company!

Refuse to give a refund for a faulty item. Do not purchase from this company. I am now out of pocket for over £100. They lost part of my order and are now unwilling to acknowledge that they lost it. Instead they are claiming I sent part of the order back. The item was weighed at the post office and there is no way one item can weigh so much.

No tracking number and if they can’t reach you they’ll deliver your package to your neighbours which I’m not sure why.. not everyone has honest neighbours they can trust

Returned an order within days of receiving as it didn't fit and received a part-refund. I'm now trying to contact them to obtain a full refund however have received only 1 response to say they'll look into it a number of weeks ago. Do not order from this company. You can find the same products with better service on Alex and Alexa! Save yourself the stress!

THEY ARE FRUAD!!!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!! THEY TOLD ME THEY SHIPPED MY DRESS BUT I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING! THE DRESS WAS $300!! I HAD TO CALL THEM MULTIPLE TIMES & WAS CHARGED $400 IN PHONE CALLS. THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO REFUND ME MY MONEY & NEVER DID. JUST KEEPS LYING SAYING MY BANK REFUSED THE FUNDS. BUT I SPOKE WITH MY BANK & THEY SAID THEY DONT SEE ANYTHING COMING IN FROM CHILDSPLAYCLOTHING!!!!

Their items are fake !!! I spoke with a Gucci & fendi site reps and they told me that child’s play is not authorized retailer or legit items

Dress was faulty embellishment fell off first wash despite me following their washing instructions, rude customer service. After waiting over a month for their customer service team to decide what happened to the dress based on a photo…..Am now £60 out of pocket as they are refusing to refund or replace, because no one else has complained about that issue yet?! They refuse for me to speak to anyone senior. I will be taking it further. Shocking company

My order number is 15501969651177 They canceled my order , even though the entire payment was made . The I get a email saying the we have canceled your order and the Childsplay team promised a full refund of my amount in 3-6 working days , it’s been over a month I haven’t received my refund !!!! Every time I call them they have a new story , no one knows what’s going on !! I think I will have to take legal action through consumer court if they don’t process my refund !!! By far the worst website to shop from . I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. The heights of being unprofessional.

bad information system, no order datils, no order history, no tracking details, no updated emails regarding any issue with your order, no special treatment for VIP customers as it was before when it was not belonging to next. since childsplay offers luxury brands with high cost it is important to offer an easy and fast return process with at least reasonable return fees as other sites that sell the same luxury brands and offer free return fees so the customer feels relaxed and comfortable when he or she buys a high priced item and that item don't fit his or her kids ( they knows that the return is easy and the company will take care of the return so they don't be frustrated). before, if you are a VIP customer= you are special so you can access the sale items earlier than other customers. this is an advantage for VIP customers to save their loyalty to your site. A lot of things had changed since the next owned the site, unfortunately.

Child’s play clothing took 371 from my card ! NEVER REFUNDED ME TELLING ME TO CHECK MY BANK when the card isn’t a bank card it’s a emerald card not gonna get into all that but just know if you using pay pal there going to take your money and lie that there gonna give you your money back VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

THEY CANCELED MY ORDER LIED AND SAID MY BANK DIDNT RELEASE FUNDS. CALLED MY BANK FOR THEM TO TELL ME CHILDSPLAY CANCELED MY ORDER. AS A CONSUMER I SHOULDNT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS. NEVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN.

Seems to be a common theme here.... fighting for a refund! Returned 2nd January. They received 6th January. It’s now 23rd and not a whisper from them! I have tried contacting them with absolutely no response. Not impressed at all. Once I get my refund, I will not be returning my custom!

Initially all good (as are most companies). Got my order but wanted to return 2 pairs of Jeans. Done exactly what it said in the returns section. Returned them within the 21 days using THEIR prepaid business reply label as laid out in their own returns policy. Waited for them to process the return automatically but a week later still nothing. Called them and they said they needed the tracking number but there isn't one on the label they provide so how can i give them it? After pushing my point and saying I had proof of postage they then said they will have to check if they have had it back and it should be done by the next day. 4.30pm the "next day and still nothing so called back. This time they said they have got ONE item back and issued a refund but claim the second item (the same jeans in a diff size) wasn't scanned on their side and would have to look for it. Making it out as if it wasn't returned. The returns form i filled in clearly stated 2 items so why when they got it didn't they raise the alarm so to speak. And as it was sent with their label the weight of the parcel wasn't recorded on the postal receipt. So many issues to highlight! 1) why does it take the customer to call to get a refund? 2) Why when the returns form doesn't match the items is nothing highlighted? 3) Why is the returns label non-trackable or traceable like 99% of other sellers?? 4) How do you expect the customer to prove they have sent you the correct number of items if you cant even get it right your end. I know i returned both items as put them both in myself and posted it. It looks like i may have to do a chargeback to get my money back but its appaling how they deal with returns and i certainly dont trust them no more. They wont get anymore of my cash and i would strongly advise anyone returning ANYTHING to the that they spend the little extra and pay for a tracked method that records the weight of the parcel.

Poor customer service - very disappointing. They do not look after loyal repeat customers. Asked for a price match for a versace bag from their own website and they would not honour it. They made an excuse about their policy not allowing it but there is no policy documented. Will not be purchasing from them again!

Last 2 times I ordered from childsplay they have taken my money and left it a week before letting me know items are not in stock then had to fight for my refund. Customer service is shocking was told a manager would ring me back on the Friday by the Tuesday still no callback so I rang again and the manager called mark was so unhelpful and patronising wasn’t interested in the slightest about losing a customer NEVER again will I order from this site when there are other sites Iv never had a problem with

I recently ordered a ballerina dress, for my daughters christening which when arrived, wasn't suitable and we didn't feel it looked the same as the website, especially in quality. When we returned it, it was sent back to us with the explanation that 'this item cannot be returned as is a back order as stated on the website'. When i looked at the 'returns' section on the website it clearly states that the item can be returned. (see attached childsplay returns) I spoke to customer service they told me that this essential information about returns is not in the 'returns' section! WHAT!? Apparently you have to click on the 'description' arrow (see attached childsplay description) which open up the not returnable info. This is misleading, and totally contradictory, returns info should be in the return info section, If you don't click the arrow to read the description you won't know this information and who even reads the description when you can see what it is. I certainly don't. I wouldn't have bought this dress if i though it couldn't be returned and now my daughter is without a dress for her christening as we cannot afford to buy two. Really upset about this. customer service replied When you click on the Sarah Louise item you have purchased the description is section is always open. On all items where description is available, this will automatically be the first section open – you will not need to press the arrow down – as the refund section has been done in the screenshot. We have this wrote in the description section as it’s always the section opened and it’s the most visible place for us to put this, and where the customer can see it before ordering. HOWEVER THIS IS NOT APPLICABLE IF when you click the returns tag the description tag closes, (please see for yourself) I went to the returns section directly to see if t was returnable and in that section it clearly states that it is . If you do not read the description you will NOT see the non return info. if you ckick ont he returns info you will not see the description If you do not want this confuson you should state that you can not return it in the return sections. Also it should be in bold or at least always visible. I am going to take this up with the trading commission who i hope will get you to at least ammend your website so that you do not do this to another poor family.

Everything from start to finish. My items took so long to arrive. When I went to return a few the store manager was so rude and it took half hour just to get through to her. Almost 2 weeks later I still have not received my refund! Constantly calling the store to be told someone will call me back but they never do. And the best bit, they dont know what items I sent back! I'll never be recommending anyone here unless they want a shopping experience from hell!
