“Chimu (Lisa Easton) worked with my wife and I professionally and quickly right from our intital contact about undertaking an Antarctic expedition cruise. Lisa handled all our many questions and enquiries with speed and grace, showing no frustration at our numerous contacts. She also provided quite a bit of time giving advice (from her own experience of such a curise) on matters to do with clothing, suitable things to take, making the whole exercise for us so much smoother. She wasn't in control of the weather, but it was clear, with blue bird days - just spectacular! It made the whole experience incredibly memorable.”

“Isure is travel company Intrepid. Intrepid cancelled significant section of the trip ie Falklands, in advance of departure date due to their inability to ensure ship arrived in Argentina by published and paid for departure date. Pre departure Intrepid sent can of itinerary to begin cruise in Uraguay. On arrival in Uraguay advised Falklands was being removed from itinerary. Full refund only offered once already in the country and airfares expended. 4 days of travel lost - ie 20% of trip. Only 10% refund received. Then had to battle to receive refund as cash rather than credit.”

“The people at Chimu Adventures have been fantastic to deal with at all stages. All my financial and other random quetsions have been answered promptly and helpfully, making the early part of our trip a lot easier to negotiate than could have been.
