“My first time with a photographer I had a great time and the team on hand were amazing I loved my hair and make up they made me feel so welcome I would definitely recommend this to anyone it's a major confidence boost too I will definitely return thank you so much”

“Terrible.... 1.) the photos taken were shoddy, they'd been put through a 10 minutes editing programme, and this wasn't the best. 2.) I was told to take a couple of outfit changes, (I did a boudoir shoot) I had to walk past people, families included to get to and from the changing rooms, I felt so embarrassed 3.) You have a choice, either pay on the spot for the photos, or they will be deleted 4.) the prices were extortionate for the quality of the product 5.) the make up artist and hair stylist were college leavers, with little to none experience. 6.) when the photos are ready to be viewed a member of staff takes you into the viewing room and you look at the photos on a computer screen, I got asked if there were 10 photos that I liked and there wasn't (10 photos was £400 give or take a few quid)... Because I told them that there wasn't 10 photos that I really liked, we left the viewing room and the lady shouted out to the 2 girls at the reception desk "No she didn't like any of them, she just wants the free one." which was the free image that was sold to me, as part of the package... After they realised I wasn't paying for photos that I didn't like, I got funny looks and their attitude changed. AVOID!”

Morning. It is really difficult to respond to any review when we do not know the date / time / studio / client. We really need you name and more information to be able to resolve any issues. In regards to what I can answer - we do not believe at all that our images were 'shoddy' - all our photographers are professionals and would not produce bad images. We spend a great deal of time editing images. The way we work is we edit as we go. This as a client you wouldn't see - its behind the scenes. As soon as we begin to take images we begin the editing process. Through all your outfit changes we are editing. When you have completed your shoot, getting changed, having refreshments, completing reviews / referrals and waiting your images we are editing throughout. Our team of re-touchers work very efficiently and complete to a high standard. We have many hair & makeup artists who work within our business. Some are newer to the industry, some have many years experienced. They have worked for MAC / Benefit / Laura Mercia / fashion shoots. We only employ talented individuals and they all work very hard to make your experience a good one. Again without knowing where or when you attended or when we can not comment on the individuals. Within the viewing, we of course show you ALL images, this is normally up to 100 images. We will advise of the costs and then its the clients choice if to purchase, no one is obligated to do so, in this case i presume you took the free image. This means the whole experience for you was free of charge. All our staff are helpful, friendly and full of eagerness to please. We all work very hard to make sure the atmosphere is a happy one and i wouldn't think for one minute attitudes change when purchases aren't made. We take these reviews very seriously - we will look into all points made but it would be so much easier to do so if we knew then appointment studio / time and your name so we can check any quality issues. Morning, I now have the paperwork from your visit to us. The consultation form lets me know the makeup artist is a very talented young lady. She has been with us over a year and never had any complaints. The review you left us on the day contradicts the review you have now left over 2 months later. To quote how you felt on the day ''Had a lovely day , the girls were great - great experience - thanks all '' Although you did mention more editing needed but as we have explained we do spend a lot of time on this. Now I have your timings of the day i can confirm this. We are interested to see why your view from the day has changed so much to now 2 months later leaving an online review. “From the moment we walked in we had a warm welcome, everyone was very friendly. The makeup artist did a beautiful job of my hair and makeup especially for someone who has never had it professionay done. The shoot was amazing and couldn't believe all the different options of backgrounds. Thank you for an amazing experience.”

“All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to both myself and my young daughter. We were guided through poses and offered a range of props to use through the shoot. I would highly recommend Chique Wakefield for a brilliant photo experience.”

“The whole experience has been amazing and one to remember. I have always been conscious of my body but the whole team at Wakefield made me feel comfortable and confident about the way I look and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience.
