“Tried to order some boots online but they kept trying to charge a delivery fee despite advertising free delivery over £50.
Seemed fishy so went elsewhere but let them know about faulty website anyway.”
“Very poor outsourced customer service which in times were very difficult to understand. The person was sticking to the script, appalling service as I tried to return an item that I have missed a return window due to the death of my father in another country. Just appalling !”
“Appalling customer service. Charged delivery when UK site says I qualified for free delivery. I’ve emailed (30 Dec) no response. Spoke to call centre abroad (3 Jan 30 mins) who had to check, said correct and would refund. No refund yet. Today sent contact form as wait time 38 mins. Really poor customer service for an old iconic company.”
“I ordered a pair of boots for my wife but the order processing appeared to fail ie no confirmation email, no delivery info. After waiting a few days and noting a pending payment against my credit card, I spent one and a quarter hours waiting for customer services to answer and gave up. The enquiry request form was nightmare with baffling auto correct totally in error. Very frustrating”

“Just don't bother if there is any possibility that you may need a refund. I have spent hours emailing and phoning customer services, and am still waiting, months later, despite them acknowledging receipt of my returns. I have honestly never heard so many lies and stalling tactics. My refund has been processed at least 4 times, according to Clarks, even whilst I was actually on the phone to them! All lies. And Bacs refunds apparently take between 3 and 21 days, depending on who you talk to. Although I still haven't actually received one of those... It's just a stalling tactic before you start the process all over again. I will NEVER buy from Clarks online again”

“I ordered three pairs of boots on 23/11/2022. I returned two pairs on 01/13/2022 and received a refund for one pair on 13/12/2022.
I have emailed Clarks twice and phoned five times, spending at least 30 minutes on hold each time. There has been absolutely no response.
Clarks have taken over £100 from me and appear to refusing to return it. This could be defined as “theft”.
Never never consider ordering from this company.”
“I ordered a pair of boots on the 28/12/2022. It tells me a that a Evri have my parcel and have had it since 03/01/23. But still hasn’t been delivered to me. Emailed Clark’s and nothing. So now need to call them at 8am this morning and see if they answer or not. I would just like my boots or my money back with interest.”

“Returned a pair of boots 6 weeks ago and still waiting for a refund. They responded via email this morning after 5 weeks to say the boots were refunded to my visa card. I don't have a visa card !!!! Have tried calling but no one manning the phones (have waited for over 20 minutes) Will never order from the website again. I am not sure what has happened to Clarks - but please avoid as it will be a real battle to get your money back. I feel I may have to escalate to get my money back”
“I ordered a pair of boots and a pair of sandals on 3rd November, they sent the wrong pair of sandals which had clearly been worn. The boots didn’t fit and so I returned them a couple of days later. Impossible to get hold of anyone at Clarks outlet. . Was on hold for an hour. In the end I raised a complaint with my bank who were super helpful. I will never buy from them again. I’ve spent ages trying to chase my refund.”
