Subcontracted by Sharps to clear waste arising from the installation of a fitted wardrobe. Clearabee arranged and cancelled collection 6 times over a period of two weeks with no explanation or reason. Waste is still at my property. Customer services simply came out with an excuse that they don’t collect from the Isle of Wight very often.

Booked collection for £129, then informed sofa collection would be and additional £50. £179 to collect 1 x sofa. Workmen arrived on time, without any tools, literally smashed the sofa up in the living room then proceeded to damage the carpet trying to remove. Contacting them to resolve damage is a total nightmare, apparently damages does not come under the customer service remit??? They will only accept complaints via an email that they do not respond or answer. A very expensive collection indeed!! Think very carefully before you appoint this company, they are not trustworthy when it comes to looking after your property!

Clearbee was very good at getting the business with prompt response et al. But when I had a complaint - no response. Total silence! I had ordered to disposal of some furniture - they then also took furniture that was not on the list. When I made the complaint on the their chat - they acknowledged that the item had been taken and disposed off. I was asked to email them with the details - which i did several times - to no avail. Then they cleverly deleted the messages on the chat where they acknowledged this theft. They are unreachable for any compensation. The matter has been reported to the police.

Proceed with Caution Clearabee’s reputation appears carefully managed, largely through their ability to remove negative reviews from Google and TrustPilot. Believe me, independent websites give a far more accurate picture. On the surface, their website looks professional and the pricing seems reasonable. But once you get to the actual service — time‑window notifications and collection of goods — that’s where the problems begin. They apply strict weight and cubic‑meterage rules in a way that works against the customer. In practice, this often means you end up paying more than the advertised “pre‑pay” figures. In my case, I booked a collection of eight specific items from a tenant’s garage to free up space. Clearabee notified a 10am–1pm window, but arrived unannounced at 5pm. They removed only three items (an empty wardrobe and empty drawers), leaving five smaller items outside on the path — items that would easily have fit inside the wardrobe they had taken. The drivers told our client they had “called us” to say the other items required extra charges and that we had declined. No such call was ever received. When we contacted Clearabee the next day, providing photos that showed the items could fit in a car boot, they refused to return unless we paid again. The result: £190 charged for removing just a wardrobe and drawers, leaving our tenant frustrated and wooden items abandoned where children play. Clearabee do not deliver what their website promises. My advice: avoid the disappointment and use a reliable local man‑and‑van service instead. You have been warned.

Absolutely disgusting attitude by a clearabee driver who did a hit and run on my car on Saturday morning. Lucky managed to get on cctv, I watched the driver not only hit my car but get out the lorry and kick my hub cap under my car and ask a neighbour if their car was an unmarked police vehicle. He did not leave any information and I have tried to contact the company but they have not replied to my phone calls or emails.

Took the advanced payment and left half way through. I had someone be there as I am disabled. Really poor service. Despite sending photos first. would not recommend.

Absolutely terrible experience. My new wood flooring was left covered in deep scratches, despite my having added Correx and an additional layer of protection. I have emailed Clearabee three times and have not received a single reply. The lack of response is absolutely appalling. Do not use their services — they take no accountability for the mess they create.

Booked a 2 man team to remove 3 piece suit. One man arrived and didnt want to do job. I forced my help as suit had to go that day. Man refused to dismantle settee even though web site says it does, I dismantled it for him. No contact recieved after making complaint. Very expensive with an added call out charge (call out charge for a paid service) don't touch this joke of a company. Total rip off merchants.

Was booked trough Wren kitchens to pick up our old kitchen. One man came in the agreed time slot spent 10 minutes looking at the kitchen, took next to nothing and said he would “come back later” he didn’t turn up. Had a text message the next day saying that they would be back that day and nothing no visit at all. Kitchen still sitting in my front yard. Terrible service

2 men came to collect our bed. They entered our house and had wet muddy boots which ruined our wool carpet (we have photos) Despite sending several emails and online feedback, we have had zero response from this company. Have notified our bank and they will take action after a week. We may choose to take Clearabee to small claims

Collection arranged by Wren Kitchens. Clearabee failed to make agreed collection date due to 'operational issues' and rearranged to following day. Today they told us collection completed though ALL the material is still here and no one was seen by the doorbell camera on the drive. No response via Clearabee chat and just left on hold by automated call service when phoning. Useless service, will be going back to Wren for complaint and refund.

The skip never turned up. No response from customer service and now I’m trying to get a refund for the money they’ve taken without providing a service. Avoid.

Terrible service. Paid for a timeslot. They didn't arrive on time. Hard to contact them on the phone - really had to search for their number and found it on a disgruntled consumer website. I received no communication from them about this and was then told that they would only refund the paid timeslot fee if the driver was 30 minute late. After waiting on hold for ten minutes I was then told that the driver wouldn't be able to make it. Don't waste your time with this company. Use one of their competitors instead.

Absolutely disgraceful service. It's not so much that the removal guys were rude and left significant damage due to not listening to me, but that when I tried to complain to clearabee themselves I was completely ignored. I emailed several times over two months, and only received replies when they thought I had a question rather than a complaint. My partner managed to trick them in to a phone call, but if course that went nowhere. Their policy is clearly to ignore complaints until they go away. And yes, I suppose it is going away because we're having a baby in the next few days and it's not worth our while to keep pestering them out of principal, but I will sure be posting a few of these bad reviews and never using them again. I've found a company around here which is much better, polite, didn't damage anything, and didn't expect a heavily pregnant woman to clear up after them.

I organised a sofa removal for my blind brother. When the removal team took it out they broke several things in his flat and communal area (intercom, lights, plaster etc). They then lied to him that they had done this when he asked what the noise was as they knew he couldn’t see what they had done. I have requested an immediate call back three times but it never comes. I have also emailed but again no response. I now have to go through small claims to get the money back for repairs. Do not use the company, they are incompetent and untrustworthy.
