“They do exactly what it says - they melt into lovely hot chocolate. (I used my hot chocolate making machine.)
However compared to other similar products available, they are all rather sweet. I’d love to see an actual dark chocolate one with 70/75% chocolate to compare to other brands doing similar things.”
“A bit of fun, a bit of a gimmick. If you're tired of making a cup of cocoa with a teaspoon and powder and need your chocolate to look like rabbit droppings in a colorful sachet then this is for you. A bit of a novelty, not very aspirational. Would drink again but wouldn't buy. Hope this helps.”
“My melting beads arrived today, I must admit I had read reviews stating the products were not received and customers complained about long deliveries, etc.
However, I received mine in good time, in a well packed box. I tried the salted caramel first ,lovely flavour a little too sweet for me, but good my taste buds are still tingling after 15 minutes. So thumbs up I will be purchasing again Thankyou 🥰😍🥰😍”
“I have tried a few hot chocolates but these are currently my favourite in flavour, both as a drink and to nibble on. They are rich and, as I don't know how to describe it properly, they taste "full" at half the price of other brands with similar quality.
The only negative, and I mean the one singular, is that they jam up my Velvetiser, as they sink before it heats up, but pausing and stirring it with a spoon solves that.”

“Initially, I made the 'smooth milk' incorrectly by putting the beads into my milk frother; the beads didn't melt properly, but the end result tasted ok although a bit sweet and not chocolatey enough.
Today I tried the 'salt caramel' beads, this time making it correctly by melting the beads in the mug covered with hot water from the kettle. The result was better this way, however, although it was less sweet than the 'smooth milk', it was still too sweet for my palate.
I have yet to try the 'rich dark' flavour, but I'm sure it will be less sweet and more chocolatey so I'm looking forward to that.
I know I will not be purchasing 'smooth milk' or 'salt caramel' anytime soon because of their sweetness.
It is a shame that there are no sample sachets offered of the 'milk and dark' or the 'super dark'; I would gladly pay for sample sachets and any extra postage just so I could try them for taste as I wouldn't want to buy a full bag without trying it first. Perhaps that is something for the company to think about going forward?”
“Honestly the best tasting hot chocolate ever! Very smooth and creamy. However, they do not work with the Velvetiser, it got blocked and stopped working. If this hot chocolate could be flakes or chocolate shavings then it would be perfect!”
“I think Cocoa Canopy's chocolate beads are delicious, regardless of whether they make it into a beverage or not ;) I keep them in a glass jar in the kitchen so they are easily accessible if I feel the need for a nibble.
They melt very well when you prepare a hot chocolate, and give the drink a lovely, creamy decadence. My favourite bead is the Super Dark, but I have tried all but one of the other blends too - must try that last one at some point! - and I find them all very tasty.
I was very lucky to win a Cocoatiser in a competition, and with the weather staying colder for longer this year, I've been indulging in hot chocolate, and sharing the love with my family and friends.
