“Bunch of thieves. Abusing their power. They have put my funds in hold although my account is fully verified and I have used a payment method used previously for withdrawals. This is utterly unacceptable. They refuse to advise on the escalation process and to what authorities they report. Thieves!”

“I opened a Coinbase account for the express purpose of converting USD into BTC for transfer to a Canadian brokerage house to convert back into fiat currency for trading in stocks and options. They only accepted cryptocurrency from customers outside Canada. I am a retired executive and am very familiar with technology since that's what I did my entire career. I had $100K wired to my account, so far, so good. It was easy converting USD into BTC but at a 'fee' of $1,485.00. Oh well, I knew and accepted the fee, so no issues. Then I went to send BTC to the brokerage in Canada. I just hit one button to start the process and immediately a message popped up saying my account was restricted/suspended because I had tried to send BTC to an illegal blockchain and I was suspended for at least a week. In the meantime BTC was steadily falling in value and was the reason I wanted the money tied in up BTC for as short a time as possible. I was shocked! I couldn't imagine what they were talking about! I hadn't input any information whatsoever as to where to send the BTC. I get their CS on a chat line and they just basically said there was nothing they could do and I was suspended... period! I implored them to reconsider and explained I had not tried to send any BTC yet or had even input any information as to where to send it but they still told me there was nothing they could do. They treated me like I was a criminal. I asked to please speak to a live person who I could explain this to and they initially said they would have someone call me in a few HOURS but eventually told me no one would be calling me for at least two days. No one ever called. I can't remember being so frustrated in my life. I had absolutely no ability to resolve the issue. They didn't offer anything to try and help either. In the meantime after hours of wrangling with them over the chat line my BTC had declined in value by approx. $2,500.00. Obviously I couldn't wait a week so they 'let' me convert my BTC back into USD, for another 'fee' of $1,485.00, to send back to my bank... approx. $5,500.00 less than when they received it a few hours earlier. Coinbase completely ripped me off. They literally stole almost $3,000.00 from me through their fees. I filed a formal complaint through their complaint department although I expect nothing will come of it. Their CS representatives told me on the chat line that I agreed to their fee structure and they can't be responsible for a crypto currency declining in value. I was told it will take up to six weeks to respond to my complaint. I have filed a formal complaint with the SEC and feel it is my duty to warn as many people as possible about getting involved with Coinbase. It is absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any company and at 73 years old that's saying something.”

“My experience is like that of other customers: Coinbase came to BBB's attention in September 2013. A review of the company’s complaints was completed in April 2021 and again in April 2022. Based on BBB files this company has a pattern of complaints from consumers who state they are locked out of their accounts, even after providing required information or updates. Consumer’s also state they have difficulty reaching the company.”

“I invested my hard earned funds with this firm early this year with the hope of getting a good Return on my investments. Little did i know this is nothing but a scam ponzi scheme, A colleague at work who introduced me to this company also got scammed and to be honest we were stuck and depressed and there was no other choice or steps we could take to recover our funds because we did not have enough information we needed, I am just glad the terrible nightmare is over as we were able to recover our investments with profits, i would like to share my experience with anyone who might have also been a victim of this scam contact spacetelcapital’’ ”

“They disabled my account without an explanation and now hold my assets with me being unable to withdraw them. Customer Service is a joke, they told me my case was looked at and the decision was not to review it at this time and they can't elaborate on the decision process. I was told I can contact them after November 28th to request another review with no guarantee that it will be reviewed at that time. I have over $6,000 in assets that I need because I just became unemployed. Finally LEGAL247RECOVERY,com helped me get my Coinbase re-enabled with full access to my account after having locked it for 7 weeks. I immediately moved all my crypto to another exchange, Binance they appear to be one of the stronger more stable ones.”

“Very friendly and helpful initially with regular phone calls, then theu request for more and more money when I couldn’t afford n more dime- they lost all interest in me and I could no longer get in contact with any of my account managers and advisors. I have been waiting almost a month to withdraw funds and not getting anything until i came acrosss Revenue surveillance corp reach out to www, RESUC.ORG, the get great hackers and cryptographers working form them to trail your fund, they took up my case and recoup my loss with no hassle compared to others .. Stay away from this company”

“To say that my experience with Coinbase customer support was the most horrific experience I have ever dealt with is such an understatement that it's laughable. I had 6.3 BTC sitting in Coinbase Pro, and when I tried to withdraw it, the system was rejecting my 2FA codes. I troubleshot the 2FA code issue for hours and determined that my 2FA was in sync. I could log in just fine with my 2FA but when I went to withdraw my 6.3 BTC, it kept saying it was invalid. So I contact customer support over phone, chat, and email with my case number #3086474, and every single person I talked to literally just copy and pasted replies. Even the personnel on the phone was just reading a script! I tried to explain to them that this is an issue with their system but they would reply with "You should be all set now, I hope I have helped you today." I mean at least ACT like you are reading the emails! In the end, these criminals held $120,000 worth of Bitcoin hostage from me until I finally gave up and found a way to withdraw them by moving it to the regular Coinbase platform, then withdrawing from there. To this day, you cannot withdraw from Coinbase Pro. It's not possible because of a bug that their support team will not even acknowledge. Their support department is incompetent. It's literally unsatisfying. I have never interacted with such humans in my life. Like, I did not know it was possible to be that unintelligent. Most of the time I felt like I was talking to an automated bot AI. I mean I can't even come up with the words to describe what it's like trying to have a conversation with them. I sent them detailed steps that I took with screenshots and prior chat logs. And the most intelligent response I would get was some copy pasted reply that had nothing to do with the withdraw issue. If you are reading this, this is your sign to NEVER USE THIS PLATFORM. If you value control of your money, DO NOT USE COINBASE. I have been in crypto since 2013 and I can tell you with 100% certainty that this company at best is a fraud after that experience. No legitimate company has a customer support department this bad. I have had unbelievably bad customer support experiences, one of the worst was with Spectrum. But this experience make Spectrum look like they will hand deliver your solution on a silver platter and give you a massage as a free bonus. I was recommended to File a case with resuc.org with the referral A1 on their official page, and l got a feedback within 24 hours with a private attorney whom was to be honest with your reimbursement procedures. It was absolutely free. They Assisted me recover my 6.3 btc worth of investment with no hassle, my goodness I was indeed amazed. Feel free to make use of there service but ensure you got evidencial proof to back up your claims. I am grateful to there team of proficient professionals, in my perspective they are the best cryptocybersecurity lawsuit attorney. “Never trust coinbase. It’s no way they aren’t in on this random locks and hacks. I trusted coinbase as my first trading platform as a beginner. I learned a hard lesson when my wallet was emptied in an hack. I reported immediately to coinbase support who did little to help my case.
