Good afternoon, I am sorry to hear you feel the service is not up to standards, In regards to the monthly contributions, we need to review your income and expenses on behalf of the creditors if there is a change of circumstances. This is because we need to show evidence to the creditors why the client can not afford the original dividend that has been proposed. Untill we have this processed we can not decrease the monthly contributions or supply a payment break. “Not helpful when i was ill and off work for more than a year. wrote to them explaining how difficult it was to make the monthly payments so got into arrears and again we wrote seeking advice and we got no reply then several months later they terminated our IVA. Now back to square one and don't know what happened to the payments we had made via the IVA. Who now can we turn to for help and some advice. 7 months after termination of IVA, We put into Barclays for a PPI mis selling and won. Barclays notified us and sent the award payment directly to creditfix now we don't know what has happened to this money. Can anyone give us some good advice please.!!! My wife is the only one working and I am now receiving PIP payment.”

“I was not told in anyway that they add on 40p for everyday you borrow money! And on 4 or 5 seperate occasions i have had to re-enter my banking details as the connection keeps gettin lost so i have to ring customer services again and again to rectify this! Once im paid up i probably wont use this again”

Good morning Stephen, Whilst in an IVA a client is not allowed to take any form of credit out generally speaking. We would never charge 40p, taking out a form of credit with out the Insolvency Practitioner's approval would breach the arrangement. The only time creditfix would take banking details would be at an annual review with our cast-light system to generate an income and expenditure form which I can see you are not due to do as of yet. “Creditfix were very helpful while I could make payments but when I injured my back 3 years into the plan with a perfect payment record and was only in receipt of £99 pw they were asking for £160 pm and told me if i miss 3 payments it would be cancelled as i did not know if or when i would work again. When I started with this company I was told my payments would rise or lower with my income sadly this is not the correct information. So i would definitely not recommend this company unless you are guaranteed to have an income to keep your payments up for the whole term. Terry Ponsford”

Good morning Terry, I am sorry to hear that you feel this way, in regards to your payment plan we can lower the payments for the monthly contributions to a certain level but after this certain level (%15) we would have to come to a variation meeting with the creditors for them to vote wither to accept this decrease or decline, generally creditors will accept but they would require a further extension on the arrangement depending on the amount of the decrease. We always try advise to only do this if necessary due to the possible extensions.
