This review is from the children of a deceased credit fix customer, his initial £44,000 debt only had 18months to run , he'd had 2 or 3 PPI payments which reduced his payments from £340 to £77 , unfortunately my father died with 18 payments to make, there has been a mixed response to his death from credit fix, 3 of 5 people that we have spoken to would allow the debt to die with my father, however the other vultures are insisting that regardless of what s been paid in the past we are now liable for not just the £44,000 but an extra £13,000 in interest, please people if you do nothing else with your life at least read this review and learn from it , credit fix do the right thing and allow this debt to rest with my father Gary, chatham

I got a PTD when I had a job. I then lost my job and was finding it hard to pay monthly payments. I got in touch with Royal British Legion, and they advice me to stop payments and go bankrupt. I informed Crefit fix, and it took someone over a month to get back in touch with me. I asked for terms and conditions, and details of who I was paying to be sent to my new address. Months have past and nothing. After putting on here a bad review I had an email from someone saying it would be sorted. Low and behold nothing has turned up. I am still getting harassment with phone calls and text telling me I have missed payments. During the RBL trying to find out themselves details of who I due money to, they found that one of the creditors have write dept off, and none have received any money. This would have mentioned after 4 years I would have paid more than I was due. Ignor what they tell you, they are there to take your money and if you try to contact them, be assured they will ignore you. I have given them an official letter of complaint, and await for the time limit before passing on complaint. AVOID AT ALL COST

Ok so where do I start, firstly the consistent calls from creditfix at the beginning to get us to sign up, then we made our first payment in February when we wasn't approved until 21st of March, we was still getting harressed by creditors everytime I have phoned creditfix about these was told it was the creditors fault bla bla bla for a month everything has been quite so thought great finally creditfix are doing their jobs... Oh was I wrong this morning I have woken to a letter from a creditor that is in the iva saying they now have a liability order!!! Thanks creditfix you have done nothing just taken money and caused more debt and issues. This is completely unfair I am disabled and in a difficult situation which you was ment to help with. Also you as creditfix are not even on the insolvency practitioners register!!! I am now seeking legal advice on this matter, and hope to find a company that can deal with my debt professionally and correctly. Don't waste your time or limited money on them creditfix in my eyes pray on the vulnerable and leave them in a worse situation. Disgusted do not even cover it.

Good Morning Kirsty, We are really sorry to learn the service you have received has not been to your satisfaction. Feedback is always vital whether positive or negative to help improve our services. Creditors contacting you is common and in general terms your creditors are afforded an 8 - 12 week allowance period to update their records to reflect your IVA. It may just be the case that they have yet to do so. You will continue to get statements and periodic notices that are “sent in compliance with the Consumer Credit Act.” Your creditors are legally obliged under this act to keep you aware of any changes to your original agreement and to inform you of your balance on a periodic basis. These letters require no action unless they are demanding payment. If you have received a document from a court (such as a blue Claim Form) please call us immediately. If you receive any letters that are not sent by a creditor listed in your arrangement, this may indicate that one of your debts have been passed to a third party. All we require is a copy of the letter and we will contact said company and update our records accordingly. If convenient could you contact us to discuss further the recent letter you have received, so we can take appropriate action were necessary to contact the creditor. With regards to the other comments in relation to more debt and issues caused we would like to have the opportunity to discuss this further. If you have any questions please give us a call on 0800 0431 431 and or send an email to customerservice@creditfix.co.uk or contact us by way of our Live Chat feature which is accessible via our website at www.creditfix.com I hope this clarifies any concerns raised and we hope to hear back from you soon in regards to this matters. Kind Regards, James - Creditfix

they're money grabbers, i informed them taht as a single parent i couldn't afford £87 a month whilst i'm on benefits with the likelyhood that i wouldn't be returning to work and they still badgered me for the money every month, no compassion all they want is the money

Good afternoon, I am sorry to hear you feel the service is not up to standards, In regards to the monthly contributions, we need to review your income and expenses on behalf of the creditors if there is a change of circumstances. This is because we need to show evidence to the creditors why the client can not afford the original dividend that has been proposed. Untill we have this processed we can not decrease the monthly contributions or supply a payment break. If you do have any other issues please do get in contact with us on our number: 08000431431 or on our live chat: https://www.creditfix.co.uk/ Kind Regards Alistair - CreditFix

My experience with credit fix has been absouloutley disgusting. they tell lie after lie after lie. I had an arrangement with them for five years and had to pay £102 per month. was told that my creditors would not contact me but they have done for past two years since being in the arrangement. good job they did in away the balances have not gone done in the whole two years some of my creditors had not received any money at all. what were creditfix done with the money I paid in???? in total have paid over £1400. then I got into some financial difficulty and was unable to pay the monthly amount. they said they would get the arrangement extended. I contacted them numerous times to discuss my situation and often never got a reply . then I was getting letters saying they were going to cancel my arrangement and that all money iv paid so far would be lost and would go into fees for themselves. how is that fair? they said they had not heard from me which was a lie I have still got the 3 emails on my laptop that was sent to them and never got a reply. also had rang up numerous times to discuss my situation as at one stage I had no money coming into the household due to unforseen circumstances they knew this and said they would help but didn't . PLEASE avoid this company at all cost. THEY ARE LIARS

I am due to come to the end of my plan in September but it seems it will not end there as they have now said that if there is any negative equity in my property I would need to I don't know re-mortgage to pay more to them, nothing was ever mentioned 5-6years ago. I pay £120 a month and some of my debts get 33p a month some are not receiving anything, where does all my money go? When I took out this plan I was told that they would look after me, this I feel you should take very loosely as information. they don't care they only interested in the yearly income sheet which I don't think they look at as I told them months ago that I have not got any house or building insurance and they haven't bothered one bit about that I could loose my house. I was told when I took this plan out that they would do a PPI search which they have insisted to do at least three or four times, with guess what the same outcome every time. Then in September last year I got a phone call saying that I should now take a loan out to pay the rest of my debt plan which no one had ever told me about when I took this plan out. I am still not convinced I will be debt free in September 2017 or what they will try to do with my property. Anyone else coming to the end please let me know that it will be ok and I wont loose my home x

I was originally with another company who was brought out by Credit fix. Since they took over I have not received any correspondence, and every time I call they say they will call me back and don't. How rude and unprofessional. I am only 5 months away from my 5 year iva and have just received a letter from Just lending. I am now being asked to try and borrow money to pay outstanding balance - how ridiculous. The whole point of this is to be debt free not get in more debt. I have tried several times over the past 3 to 4 months to get someone to call into regards of the outstanding balance of the account but as usual they say they will call back and don't. How am I suppose to find out what is the situation with my account if no one response. I have just about had enough of this company since they took over my contract. I am now going to make an official complaint. If this does not work I will go further.

Excellent Company, It got my wife and me out of financial difficulties after I was made redundant following 8.5 years at my previous job. We were with Nationwide B-S for a long time, and had never defaulted with any transactions with anyone all of our lives. We still had two outstanding loans with Nationwide, and other debs, which would have been paid off on my retirement as planned in April 2016. I was made redundant in February 2014. We Talked to Nationwide in the beginning, because I had some redundancy money, and it was decided that we kept paying, while we could, until I obtained another job. But getting another job at my age was difficult, I intend to work past my retirement as I feel fit and want to, and anyway need to - for financial reasons, carry on. But when I got back in touch with Nationwide, attitudes had changed, they said for a couple of months we could pay £25.00 off each loan as we could only afford that, this was following a 'means' test. After the two months things really began to get nasty, they where constantly phoning us! threatening! and sending letters every day, my wife is a little older than me and has finished work, but was really stressing about it all. Eventually we were told about Credit fix, They Pay our Creditors, and we pay them so much back per month, which is a lot less than at used to be. I have another job now but the pay is low, and this has been taken into account. they were brilliant from the outset, and now no letters or phone calls! Heaven!!! My only criticism is, that because they are so busy, its sometimes difficult to contact them by telephone, luckily i have a laptop, where we kept good contact.

Not clear at all from the beginning on how the agreement works. Constant contact until I signed the paperwork, then very hard to talk to anyone. Also missed off a bank account which they said had been added. I called when I received the documents as I was confused due to Legal jargon and was assured all was in good order. Apparently not....... Wish I had never taken the agreement.
