“Purchase didn't go through. Ended up getting the vouchers blocked. Customer service has not been able to resolve the issue 9 days and counting. Avoid online and telephone purchases!”
“Tried looking for PC monitors only to be blocked on safari on my iPhone so won’t be visiting the store or website ever again and will be buying elsewhere”
“Website blocked me. Contacted currys via Facebook and was told the issue was my end despite no changes. Found there were many more in my situation, taken my business elsewhere.”
“For some reason Curry’s decided to suddenly block me from the website via something called cloudflare. Called curry’s who denied having anything to do with cloudflare and it must all be my issue. Sent me away with a load of tasks before I went back to them, all because I wanted to give them my money!!”
“I haven't been able to access Currys website for a couple of weeks. I get the message "Sorry you have been blocked" on every page I try to open. I can't even open a customer service page to try to solve the issue. Seems others are experiencing the same error. I'm now shopping elsewhere because I can't wait any longer for them to fix their problem, wonder how many more orders they've lost”
“'Sorry, you have been blocked. You are unable to access currys.co.uk'.
Why is Currys using such a rubbish security system (cloudflare) as it is preventing people accessing the website. I was only trying to buy something online. Never had any problem when access on Currys website before. It's Currys loss not mine as I went elsewhere. There must be other people like me who were blocked by cloudflare and gone else. I bought it from B&Q as I had no problem access other website like Argos, AO, John Lewis, etc... I phoned customer service - not helpful at all as i was advised to either change my browser and see if I can access Currys, or to go to the currys store to buy it there. If I had to go into the currys store then I would not have to report this. Currys need to know that if they blocked people from accessing their website, there are alternatives online store that people will go to.”
“I have been unable to contact customer service. My purchase receipt has wrong email address and it is impossible to correct this. Thus I have not received confirmation email. The after sales communication is dreadful”
“Curry’s website contains blatant inaccuracies about the Kenwood kMix. It states categorically that the mixer has a ‘pulse’ function which is one reason I bought it. I got it home and it doesn’t have one. Their ‘expert’ asked why it was important and then suggested I switch it on and off. No idea what they were talking about. Currys will not deal with this matter and have just gone quiet on me. An absolutely disgraceful way to treat what was a very loyal customer, they have almost a monopoly now other companies have gone out of business and refuse to alter their website. Beware the incompetence and lies on the website. John Lewis’s are a much better company.”
“Won't let you onto the website, holding screen saying it is checking my security???? I have never experienced this with any other website ever!! Says it will take 5 minutes in reality takes 10 minutes. Crashes constantly. You search filter by price, look at a product, decide that's not the one you want , go back and it reverts back to sorted by recommended every time. Very frustrating”
“Tried repeatedly to use Currys website to buy a microwave and built in hob (£300 to £400) but blocked by Cloudflare constantly so we went to Argos and Amazon. Currys loss.”
“There is no information about the delivery of household appliances to buildings without an elevator. Equipment value £1500, who can afford to lose such a small retail customer.”
“Your staff are so ride. I was at the check out at your Darlington shop waiting to be served. Three staff were standing talking and I asked for help and a girl. Said "we are talking".
Such rude staff that I left the shop without buying the TV I wanted.
No wonder shopping on line is much better with shop staff like the three girls in this shop.
I was in at 2.45 today.”
“Initial access to the site extremely slow took over 5 minutes. This was due to the rubbish Cloudflare DDos front end. When I eventually got there the "chat to us" feature never actually got to a chat window. Gave up as better things to do than go round in circles all night. bought from ao.com instead.”
“Dismal service after a recent online order. Ordered on 14th April still waiting for delivery on 23 may. Shocking customer support to eventually be told royal mail has lost parcel and will have to wait another 21 days for refund. Avoid using this company for delivery as it seems the norm that along with royal mail they loose your order”
