On the 7 June I placed an online order for a 4-person tent, 2 double mattresses, a pump for the double mattress, 4 trekking mats and two children’s sleeping bags. This cost over £350. I was told my order would be ready to collect instore in Edinburgh on 15 June. I called the Edinburgh store on 15 June and was told by a man that it hadn’t arrived but I should call back the following day after 1pm as more deliveries were expected. I was also told at that time that each of those items were available on the shelves in the shop already and if the delivery hadn’t arrived by 1pm the following day they would be able to source the items from the shop for me. Rather than calling the next day (16 June) I waited and called the store on 17 June. This time a woman at the store answered and told me the delivery had been postponed until 20 June. When I explained the previous call with her colleague, she told me there was nothing she could do and I should make a complaint to Decathlons head office in London. After I hung up someone cancelled that order. To be clear, I gave no one permission to do that at any point given I have a camping trip planned with my children. I was appalled at her lack of sympathy, her lack of flexibility and her refusal to try to resolve this using the solution her colleague had told me would be possible.

Clothes are sized ridiculously small on what I ordered ,,I’m medium and large was too small so ordered XXL and it fitted ,quality is not good ,thin fabrics poor stitching and stitching comes undone ,customer services is terrible they just keep saying a refund was issued and I’ll get it in 24 hours ….been over a week and I’ve still not got money back ,having to raise dispute with PayPal now ,item ordered that came from another seller but ordered at decathlon saying refund will take a MONTH when I sent back large jacket because I can’t get my arms in it !! I’m medium according to their sizing but I ordered large and It’s still miles too small

Worst the products and totally bad customer service I purchased this backpack in April 2022 in Bergerc France, after two trip, all the plastic hardware have broken, I contacted Decathlon, they basically told me if I purchased in store, I have to go there to exchange, but I live in USA, I don't speak French, Decathlon customer service won't even care....Don't purchase anything from them, you will regret their attitude afterwards.

Received item in a terrible state. Box ripped and taped back together, holes in the box also. Items inside were dirty and clearly already used. Some items were missing. Tried to contact them, waited for 90 minutes before giving up.

Bought a badminton racquet in Decathlon Auburn on Sunday and its strings broke at the first play on Monday within 5 mins. The staff said it is normal and no warranty, then let me go to the professional shop to fix it. I contacted Decathlon customer service, he let me restring it in Tempe Decathlon. I said it is a product issue, even though I restring it, it will break again quickly. Then he doesn't reply me any more.

I bought my Electric bike from Decathlon and part of the deal included a free check after a few months. I booked it in and the service engineer Ian did a excellent job and repaired a puncture which only cost £10.98 which I thought was reasonable. However, I went to the check out to pay and was informed that they only take card payments. I explained that I do not have cards and asked how I could pay as I only had cash. The cashier said it was the Store policy not to take cash and advised me to approach a customer and ask them to pay my bill for me and for me to give the customer my cash, I refused to approach a complete stranger and have the embarrassment of asking them to pay my bill so she said she would get the Manager. The Manager said exactly the same as the cashier and again I refused to approach a stranger and to put someone on the spot and cause us both embarrassment. I suggested I would call my wife so that she could pay over the phone and was told that they could not do this and she would have to travel to the store to pay which she could not do because she was at work and we lived 20 miles away. The only cause of action he said was to keep my bike in store until I retuned with someone with a card to pay the £10.98. The manager had no intention of helping me even though I pointed out cash is legal tender and I wanted to pay my bill. The bike was my property, paid for and not the stores property and I don't think they had the authority to suggest they would not allow me to take my bike until I had paid, which I was trying to do. Fortunately a woman and her son approached me because they had overhead the conversation with the Manager. They offered to pay because they said the Managers attitude was unhelpful and they were disgusted that somebody was being treated so badly whilst trying to pay their bill. It would of been helpful and would of stopped a lot of embarrassment if it has been explained to me when I booked my bike in for repair that they only accept card payments. I would like to thank the two people who came to my assistance and helped me. If this is now Decathlon's customer policy we will not be using the store again or recommend to family and friend. I find it difficult to understand that the store or Company think it is acceptable to suggest that a customer should approach other customers in store to ask them to pay a complete strangers bill on their card.

I used to love decathlon products until a few years ago. I used to love visiting decathlon stores in Bangalore and buy workout gears, jacket, in fact all my regular wear clothes from decathlon. But somehow I have felt this recently that the quality of decathlon products is gone down tremendously. For reference, I had a blue quechua 1L water bottle (non plastic) which I have been using from 3-4 years. It was always roughly handled and there was not even a single scratch on the bottle. It was perfect for use till now. It was for Rs.399/0 Last week, I purchased the quechua 1L green water bottle (non plastic). By mistake it slipped from my hand and fell on a cable on the floor and there is a huge dent on the bottle. Imagine falling on a cable resulted in a dent. That was shocking. It is for Rs699/-. Prices are going up and quality is going down. I'm sorry to say you just lost a customer. I don't think me and my husband will ever visit decathlon again.

HORRIBLE! purchased a bike for my daughter and within days the rubbed tire fell apart as she was riding. After weeks of discussing this situation with them and wanting an exchange on this hazardous bike I’ve been told this is due to deflated inner tube inside the tire and it happens when it sits in there warehouse for too long. So because they have had a bike in there warehouse for too long it’s my problem that it arrived this way. My daughter fell off as she was riding, how is that exceptable. Tire no long stays inflated and I’ve had the bike for 2 weeks and it was only riden 3 times. Save your money and shop elsewhere. They tell you that your child’s safety is at there utmost priority but thats all BS. At end of day I’ve been told there’s nothing they can do in terms of exchange because it’s common practice to pump your tire every time your ride it. Well we own Cannondales and I’ve never ever had to do that before. We purchased the ROCKRIDER ST 120 20" KIDS MOUNTAIN BIKE, don’t buy it. But I honestly wouldn’t buy nothing from them as I saw another review on here with the same issue. Btw there bikes are made in China so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with there crappy workmanship. I had such high hopes in this company. There website looks very professional but clearly they are NOT! Willl be filing this with my credit card company.

I would like to purchase the Golf Ball Pick-up Tube but the reviews are saying you can only empty 1 ball at a time from the tube. Has there been a modification to the tube which will allow the top of the tube to be unscrewed which will allow all balls in the tube to be emptied all at once?

Ordered the El 100 cross trainer for delivery. Advised on the track & trace site it would be delivered in the afternoon. I receive a text message from the driver from Allied Express @ 10am with just a zoomed in photo of the consignment label for my delivery. I was not home at the time & was at work. I would be home by lunch time/afternoon. I texted the driver asking what happened as I was advised it would delivered later on in the day. Ofcourse there was no reply from the driver. I called him. I started off being defensive and told me that he had pressed all the buzzers in my building and no one let him in so he left my delivery outside the building. OUTSIDE the building! He then continued to tell me that it’s really heavy, requires 2 people to lift/move it, so not to worry because no one will steal it but if anything happens that Decathlon will sort me out because they’re really good with things like that! I was shocked, upset and mad! I told him that he wasn’t scheduled for delivery until the afternoon! He called me a liar and said that there was no way it says that on their website and if it did say that, it was an error and questioned if I saw when he scanned in the parcel for delivery that morning at 6am, so there was no way he was keeping it in his vehicle until the afternoon!! He hung up. I proceeded to try to google Decathlon’s contact number. Ofcourse they don’t have one. Beyond upset and mad at this stage, whilst still at work! Their online robot advised that she’s “sure the driver left the delivery in s safe place” followed by a damn smiley face. How extremely condescending. Used to be a Decathlon customer, always purchased in store. Shame that the first experience online was absolutely atrocious. Stop using Allied Express drivers.

Order GB306058808 This company is a complete shambles i ordered my two sons the Rockrider electric bikes when they arrived I was shocked to find one of the bikes had vital parts missing headstock bolts,charger and additional screws also the bike had scratches all over it these bikes retail at £1000 each. I informed customer services of this matter and they offered me a £10 voucher I then complained again as the item they had sold me was unfit for purpose so they again offered me a £25 voucher each time I asked specifically how to make a complaint they avoid and ignore you completely they then offered to replace the bike and without speaking to myself booked in collection for the very next day I told them I work for the fire service and cannot just take the day off and would let them know what day is suitable after i spoke to work. Guess what they called me the wrong name booked in collection anyway ignoring my emails to cancel there sly little trick is to cover there own backs to make it look like they are playing ball my advice people is “DO NOT BUY FROM THESE INCOMPETENT BIG GREEDY COMPANIES” they do not care about the buyers. I’m still in the same position I will update as the case progresses.

Worst experience! Order cancelled one day before delivery for one item. For the second item, delivery not done and message sent that nobody at home. When tried contacting customer care, only robotic answers. Wish I had never bought from them

Avoid at all costs. Ordered 2 golf clubs, confirmed order, took payment plus £13 delivery charge. Couldn't fulfil order, sent only one. Had to reorder the second, which was showing as in stock . Still awaiting refund from first order a week after they cancelled it . Now find they have also charged me twice for the second order . In total they owe me £73. Abysmal. Order elsewhere. Will take your money, even for orders they cant fulfil, charge the earth for delivery and duplicate payments. Fuming

Late delivery and when my product arrived it was missing half of the product (1 of 2 boxes arrived). It is near impossible to get hold of people to sort out deliveries.
