I have placed an order for 10 signs on 28/03/2022. I am still waiting for the order to arrive. The phone number given on this website (Health & Safety signs) never gets answered. Emails are not responded to. Absolutely appalling service. £116.94 paid out and no signs to show for it. Order number 26862.

Hi Lucinda, Apologies but this isn't the correct company. We are Design a Sign, we specialise in business signs. HSS is indeed our sister company, but they use different systems etc to us so this isn't related to us. I can also confirm the HSS do not have a phone number so if you need to contact them please email them on sales@healthsafetysigns.co.uk and they will be able to help you. I placed an order on the 10th December 2020 for an Christmas present and haven't heard anything at all!!! I have tried to phone more than an handful of times and was told I'm on hold then get cut off and no one answering emails!! All I want is 2 no where my order is and when it will b despatched!! Please can u do something abt communication as seems 2 b a recurring problem!! Either give me a refund or despatch my product!!

Shocking treatment. Promise after promise and still no signs delivered. Try to call customer service you cannot get through. Do not use. Scam. Delivery still not arrived

********** AVOID DESIGN A SIGN *********************************** I ordered a house sign. Three weeks later it hadn't been delivered. I contacted the company (email as they NEVER answer the phone), they asked if I could send them my order acknowledgement(?) I did and their immediate response was that they'd sent it (it appears to be their common initial, and false, claim) There was no proof of despatch offered. I gave them another two weeks, a guy called Luke (Customer Service Manager) had promised the sign would be made and delivered. Surprisingly it hasn't turned up. I've asked for a refund. I'll keep you posted, if only for my own amusement.

Ordered with this company online, sometimes when its too easy; the problems reveal themselves later on, slow customer communication and then delivery times that were weeks beyond their given deadlines. Stupidly used the same company for other work, only to then recieve the goods with a poor substandard finish and unusuable for a corporate environment. Would stay clear unless you want something cheap and cheerful as a gift. Regrets.x

Wouldn’t have left one star!!! But only way I could write review. Received order but wrong and customer service terrible!! Ordered in august, left emails no response since and contact number doesn’t exist. Can anyone help??

Initially worked great. Supplied my own design and the team @ design a sign were a great help. Gave the go ahead on the sign and didn't hear anything, so chased them up. I had basically been forgotten and was told it was due the amount of orders made by people with the same name as me... right! More like lost in the system. When the product turned up, it was shocking! It hadn't been laser etched, had been printed on to some machined oak. Not only that it was printed twice and offset from each other, so looked totally wrong. The text wasn't straight/level and was on the wonk. The wood block hadn't been cut straight. The ends where cut hadn't been sanded off. Had split edges from where it was cut. Finally the size agreed was incorrect also. Basically everything that could be wrong was wrong. Informed them of the probs along with photos. They were really good about it and very apologetic. Received the new attempted sign. Design was laser etched in - Great Design was correct - Great Size of the block was correct - Great Block wasn't cut straight... here we go again! Text was on the wonk and not horizontally level. Dings on the face of the design, although only small. BUT I now had two pre-drilled holes either side of the design... too close to the design so it interfered and more importantly I didn't want any pre-drilled holes in the sign. It wasn't being fixed to a wall and didn't need the holes as I wasn't screwing it to anything. At no point did I ask for this and so didn't expect it. Id happily have cut the wood straight and would have put up with the design slightly on the wonk, cutting the bottom edge straight may have helped. But why drill holes in the sign and literally either side of the design when it wasn't requested or even listed as an option or asked if I wanted it. Been in touch and asked for a prepaid return label. Would gladly send back the two attempts of the sign which are wrong. Want a full refund... now not heard a thing. Emailed three times and no response. Tried calling and the number doesn't connect. Absolute joke. Very poor outcome. Great until things go wrong and you don't hear back. How many attempts needed to make what was a simple wooden block sign. Dread to think how they deal with something more complex. Would avoid using them and save your money.

DO NOT USE!!!! Defective item and blanking all communication meaning I am unable to request a refund. This company is acting against Trading Standards and will be reported so. Please do not use them - it is not worth the hassle and the signs will not be as you ordered.

Been waiting since 16th may for my sign. Get a email on the 10th of June to say it’s being mad and should revived 5-10 days. Still no sign. I do not recommend you use this company. They do not reply straight away took my over 10 emails for them to reply. And still no sign!!!!!!!!

WARNING - Company seems to be fraudulent! I ordered signs about a month ago. Originally I was promised that they will arrive within a few days, they still didn’t. It’s very difficult to receive responses to e-Mails. But each time I do get one they say that they are working on it and that they should be delivered soon. I now cancelled my order, but didn’t receive a confirmation that I will receive a refund. Very frustrating! I now ordered the signs elsewhere. And I am not very hopeful that I will get my money back from DesignAsign.

Been waiting for my sign since beginning of may. No reply on several emails I have sent. Do not answer there phone. There live chat does not work. Really bad service. I do not recommend using this company.

Ordered a sign a week ago. No confirmation. Email. No answer on chat, emails or phone line Update- I have been contacted by design a sign asking me to update this reviews I have posted a pic of their email below. I did get my sign in the end. Order placed 12th April Order delivered 30th April Delay due to mistake with email. Two signs delivered. Attachments for one sign only delivered. Customer service poor

Hello Robyn, I have just come across a 1 star review that you left us and am absolutely confused as to why you even did this? First off, I can see you mention that we never answer emails from you when every single one of your emails was answered on the exact same day. (Please see attached) Secondly, I can see that your order was dispatched on the 28th which is within the 5 working day production time we ask for once the designs have been approved?. And finally, we originally sent over an email as soon as you have placed an order but you had entered the incorrect email on your order so it was sent to the wrong address. Which is not our fault sorry. Based on these points I literally am clueless as to how or why you issued us a 1 star review. Please may I ask you to remove this review as it is a complete abuse of the reviewing system and massively effects us a company when all we have done is offer a great service. I ordered a sign at the beginning of January. It's now the middle of February and I'm still waiting. I tried calling the office but no one answers and there's no customer service manning the chatline. I'm beginning to wonder if they've gone out of business.

Seems to be a recurring theme looking at their past reviews. Similar experience here. Ordered a sign at the end of January. Was give 4 different delivery dates, and a multitude of excuses - Original sign wasn't up to scratch so it was re-done, Staff issues, COVID. In the end they just kept giving me different delivery dates and never actually delivered. Very poor. My guess is that they're not actually making the signs and the work is carried out elsewhere, but I could be wrong about this. Either way, there customer service is terrible. In the end I just asked for my money back. Strangely this was the only thing they managed to do quickly!

We purchased a wooden sign from this company and within 2 months the laser signage has faded and looks terrible. The wooden plaque and wooden post looks extremely weathered. We emailed the company to complain as the sign was not cheap and we thought we was buying top quality and would have expected the sign to last several years not 2 months. The aftercare and customer service is appalling, they do not answer the phone and do not respond to emails. I would not recommend this company and will not be purchasing anything else from them again.

We ordered a sign on 11th November. The posts arrived on 24th November, much later than expected. The sign has still not turned up and it is now December 4th with zero communication from the company.

late delivery, process to create a sign took longer than expected because it took ages for them to reply or find pictures i sent. Very poor costumer support. I needed 10 signs for the company and I ordered one to see how it goes and I got super dispaointed with everything. Not going to recoment anyone unless you enjoy having problems and chasing people.

Hi Daria! Thank you for your review. To reflect upon this, looking at the emails between us, I can see that you had originally placed an order for an Engraved Aluminium Sign. Of which we cannot engrave in colour (something which is shown across the product page on our website)... After a few emails explaining that we cannot colour engrave we asked if you would like us to upgrade your sign free of charge to a Printed Aluminium sign instead (a more expensive product) so you could include colour. After you had agreed we had a few emails back and forth with amendments to the design, of which I can see there were at least 2 emails to you each day, most of which were replied to within an hour of you emailing. This is essential to ensure the customer receives the sign as they envision. Upon approving your order we also sent out an automated email with the dispatch times etc. Based on these points we wish you to reconsider your review as we feel that the customer service we have offered you does not warrant a one-star review. Ordered a backlit sign. Sent our logo which was sent back to us as a proof. The sign arrived but when lit the colours are completely washed out and nothing like they should be. Took the sign to an independent expert who laughed at the poor quality. Avoid.
