“I have rented a myoproplus biofeedback. I found the site a bit confusing. I ticked the box for electrodes but it didn't seem to add them so I ordered them from accessories which it says need to do. I ended up with two lots of electrodes. I'm sure the machine is good but can't get anywhere with it myself”

“This does not look like the one my practitioner showed me and I am finding it impossible to find the right settings. I am using the nearest I can get and will get advice from her when she returns from holiday. Also, it is supposed to emit 5 pips when it has finished the cycle but it does not and just turns off”

Good afternoon Christine. I am sorry that you are finding it difficult to set the machine up. There is a video on our website that shows you how to do this https://youtu.be/J4_tGLSD1q8. If you have to wait for your clinician to set it up and it means you cannot use it until then, please let us know nearer the end of your rental period and we will see if we can extend it by a couple of weeks for you.

“Unfortunately, my package was not addressed correctly and had the wrong house number. It arrived in the right road but to the wrong house. The recipient called up de smit and suggested that de smit call me to arrange collection. I was happy with this and got my parcel much more quickly than if it had been returned and dispatched again. On the other hand, I was glad that we live in a long road and it was not a close neighbour as this approach was not good for medical confidentiality.”

“I hired a Simplex. One of the leads was missing, and the device clearly hadn't been cleaned, though it wasn't bad in that respect. Otherwise it seems to be working OK.”

“device - found easy to access on the internet and the process of purchasing very good. The process of delivery could have been better would like to know a day and just fortunate I was at home!!! This device was for the physiotherapist to use unfortunately the wrong instructions were in there, which is not helpful when we are trying to help people improve bladder function etc, otherwise the machine is easy to use”

“Was optimistic re this device - Delivery was quick, from time of ordering. Without a knowledgeable person to programme the device however,I don't know how to work it! I've followed the Quick Start leaflet and the manual, but can't get the device to work. The device does show background light, so not a battery problem. Staff in the clinic I've been attending are now deployed elsewhere in the NHS, so no-one to phone for advice.”
