“I haven’t had a chance to use the light in the wild just yet but I tried it out in the backyard. It’s definitely bright enough, and the reason I got it was for the red light feature. Also bright enough to illuminate the campsite and the fact it won’t attract swarms of bugs will be great. Looking forward to put it real use and see how long the battery lasts.”
Hi David! Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad the light is bright and that the red light feature fits your needs. Looking forward to hearing how it performs for you and over the battery life as you test it outdoors.
Kind regards,
Devos Outdoor Team

“Love the lights. Have the larger Light Ranger which we use all the time camping in our RV. The mini are perfect for the table, tent camping or overland camping in our Jeep.”
“No camping till spring but I’ve used it to BBQ and for some emergency vehicle maintenance. Great light, quick and easy to set up…it checks all the boxes for me! Added the motion sensor for security as we spend a lot of time in the mountains. It seems to work pretty good in tests with the dog and should do the trick to let us know if there is something we may not want to meet up with if we have to “go” in the middle of the night. Want to see how it works this summer but will probably add the solar panel so we can “set it and forget it”. Already bought a second. Absolutely recommend!”
“Devos light will change the way you set up camp after dark!! No more need to rush to your campsite before the sunsets!!! No pause enjoy the sunset that GOD has painted for you. Your Devos light will take most all of the pain out of setting up after dark. Trust me!”
“These are lights are perfect. Down in south Florida, there’s a burn ban but we can continue to enjoy the camping trip when the sun goes down. Great product!”
“Excellent product support and customer service. My tripod base on my light ranger 2000 was damaged while camping on the beach when we had some unexpected high winds (40+ mph gusts). Devos customer support offered a quick and painless solution that got it back in working order quickly. Very appreciative of their effort and responsiveness to my situation.”
“I love the Light Ranger 2000 for sure. The bag could be larger so you could store the 20watt solar panel in it. I would recommend this light to everyone. So the only improvment would be a larger more robust carry bag.”

“I was reluctant to buy this light because it was so expensive and I thought it probably wasn't going to be as good as advertised. I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. T be clear, it won't it won't like up your yard or campground, but it does give you plenty of like where you need it. Early morning fishing, it will light up the area well enough to set up your equipment. Plenty of light to see over dark BBQ etc.”
Hi Lawrence, thanks for the honest review! We totally get the hesitation at first, and we’re really glad to hear the light ended up exceeding your expectations. You’re spot on it’s not meant to flood an entire yard or campground, but it does a great job putting light exactly where you need it. Early morning fishing, setting up gear, or lighting up the BBQ are all perfect use cases. We appreciate you giving it a chance and sharing how you’re using it.
Thank you for the shout-out! We’re glad our team was able to quickly get you a replacement for your LightRanger 1200. Providing reliable camping lights and fast, helpful support is important to us, and we appreciate you choosing Devos.
