I WILL NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. Unfortunately due to the constant harrassing emails from Direct Bikes telling me that my review is wrong, incorrect, refusing to help replace parts that are faulty and now threatening legal action against me I have had to amend my review again. I now feel I am unable to express my true and honest opinions in regards to this purchase. I feel the bike was not delivered in working condition due to damaged (battery) and missing parts. They have refused to replace parts (battery) unless I take down my review in it's entirety. I can not divulge any more of my experience with this company as I feel it will be twisted as defamation.

Avoid - Terrible Customer Services over the phone and email. This company is completely absolutely rubbish and i recommend that no one uses them. Their telephone staff do not understand or know of there own terms and conditions and advised that the bike could NOT be tested. Subsequently we cancelled the order because of this, they are now refusing a delivery charge refund of £85.00. Something else you should all consider is if you ever need to start legal proceedings against them that they sell bikes to you under the name of Direct Bikes Retail LTD but the owners of the bikes are in fact Direct Bikes LTD a different company completely. PLEASE NOTE EVERYONE THAT THE SELLERS WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE - These parts include and are not limited to; Brakes, Cables, Kick Starts, Fairings, Stands, Exhaust, Mirrors, Drive Belts, Bulbs, Wheels, Top Boxes and Tyres;

Do not trust do not buy save your money and go elsewhere! Awful company awful customer service! If you do buy make sure the bike has a nova and work before you accept and registration is tried... You won’t get refund at all

we brought a bike for my son to go to college, after trying to regester it with the DVLA they sent all paper work tell us we needed a NOVA ref number before we could continue, after 2 weeks of try to get this from direct bikes , we have got nothing no help.. so we have a bike we can not use unhappy to say the least

Bought my db 125 from these clowns, was promised the paperwork that i needed to register the bike, but never came, i have phoned them on the odd occasion they answered they promised that the paperwork would be sent within a few days, but have still not come, have emailed them three times, they did get back once and again promised that the paperwork would be sent, but am still waiting, have now asked for a refund and surprise surprise they have not got back to me, i once spoke to a young lady on the phone i asked her a few questions like could i have the managers phone number her voice went very low and she would not give me the number because she would get into trouble, she sounded quite scared. SO KEEP AWAY FROM DIRECT BIKES, THEY ARE NOTHING BUT COWBOYS.

Firstly you have to register it yourself, takes forever and it seems by doing that Direct Bikes are not accountable for the potential death traps they peddle. . I bought the DB 125-19 in October 2016. Worst decision I ever made, I had it serviced at 300km 1000km then with 1200km on the clock the accelerator cable snapped whilst doing 55mph on the a414. When I eventually found a garage who would even look at the bike the mechanic took one look at my brand new scooter and just shook his head in pity. 1300km exhaust guard fell off 1370km rear mudguard came undone 1400km centre stand dampener fell off causing an unbearable squeak. 3000k Service back brake pads are worn due to capilar falling apart, exhaust rattled needs replacing, rear shocks blown needed replacing, front wheel bearings were broken, rear tire bald, new tire needed. Steering bearing notching needed replacing. 3400km Broken down on way to work pick up coil burned out. Cost of repairs £870 in all plus 3 services at an additional cost of £320. I was advised by the garage to sell the bike as the build quality was so poor as to be dangerous. I knew from very early on that the aftercare department was non-existent they simply washed their hands of me when I tried to contact them to use my so called 1-year parts warranty (labour not included) they simply ignored me, don't bother trying to contact them it will just stress you out. Please do not fall into the trap I made of thinking that the bikes were a bargain for the money, it's a false economy and the bikes are simply dangerous.

it is the worst sales company. They did not even tell me that I need to register the bike for which I had to pay almost 100 pound to DVLA and alot of hassals to get the scooty ready. it is the worst. if I was aware of registration I wouldn`t have bought it in the first place

Good service from ordering to receiving scooter. Scooter was well packaged. Really like design and quality is good. It's nice to deal with a company that isn't trying to make things as cheap and flimsy as possible.

My exhaust has snapped because a bolt is missing and I'm simply trying to order the exhaust system for python scooter db125t-108 11. They told me yo take it off and give them the dimensions of it, I told them I'm not a mechanic and I dont know how to do it. They said they have sent me a diagram but I cant get on to it as it wont let me sign into a account. How hard is it for them to order it me and the bolt for it. As I have gave them the model number for it everything Its disgusting. Now I've read the reviews I'm gutted I did not first as I would never of got off this company

Poor customer service from the start....They take a long time to reply to emails.....Took out the extra warranty for £100 and they say they have recommended garages to take your bike to.....None of these are aware of any communication with Direct bikes....In fact some refuse to even repair them..........When you have had the bike for 3 years it needs an MOT......You may as well dump it in a ditch because you will have nothing but electrical faults....Faulty switches and difficulty starting it...

Avoid this company !!! I've had this moped since August 2018 and the dvla don't recognise there documents they aren't legit to register them with dvla ,,, I have a bike I can't do nothing with and I'm currently taking this matter further and they keep avoiding my messages I just want my money back now

Very unhappy so far. Bought a new scooter last Saturday for next day delivery. 8 days later and still no bike!!! I have emailed the director and no response. There's no customer service number to call only an email address. If you call the direct bikes number you will always get a girl called Alex on the other end (no matter which department you go through) who can't help with anything!!! They have taken the money and delivered nothing. Angry and disappointed to say the least..........

I bought a bike from them and within 200km the whole thing started to fall apart. It wouldnt work in the rain. Bolts sheared off. Gaskets failed. Exhaust fell off, i could go on... This was all after it had been to an approved garage! When asking for warrenty claim they fobbed me off by blaming their own recommended mechanics. Eventually took them to court and got my money back. Stay well away from these people. They want your money and then they vanish.

Would give 0 stars if it let me. I have brought a bike from them which turned out to be faulty. It kept cutting out I emailed them the seemed to be willing to help told me to do checks i did some but I said I don’t know what’s I’m doing can you get someone to check it. They told me to put in for repairs they will pay me back i said okay. I need to wait a few weeks to get some money together to pay for it first. So then sometime went by I emailed them to say I’m going ahead with the repairs and then they told me to do more checks again I said okay il check They asked me to check the fuse it Seemed okay still not knowing what I’m doing. They said take it to repair they will pay me back so we did that turned out to be the fuses it got fixed it worked okay They asked me for the invoice so they could pay me back why else would they ask for an invoice once I sent it they then ignored my emails for a week then told me I should know how to check a fuse with out being a mechanic which is just a ridiculous statement that I should automatically know how to check a fuse. So because it was a faulty fuse they asked me to check Which I did to the best of my ability they are refusing to pay the costs. The fuses needed to be replaced either way which it was a manufacturer fault that comes under warranty Also the bike checked for more faults. They continued to call me a liar because they think I didn’t check the fuse offered to pay half It for good will and that they r not liable for selling me a faulty bike Do not waste you time and money on them they r shocking. We r out of pocket and couldn’t use the bike for 2 months because of how long it took to try get someone to Help!
