“Warning DO NOT trust this dealership If I could award this dealership minus stars would be minus 10. Placed order for new car February, agreed costs, went through finance checks, have email advising have confirmed build slot for May, expected delivery June. You can image my shock and anger after visiting the dealership early June as request for updates were being ignored to be told delivery now expected October. Also cost of car had increased as had the finance interest rates which I would be expected to cover. I would highly recommend you do not use this dealership and encourage their unethical business practices. I did not proceed with my order and await return of deposit”

Placed order for new car February for June delivery, advised in June of delay in delivery until October which you would think would be bad enough but then was advised agreed finance rate had increased as had cost of the car which I was expected to cover. Never experienced customer service as bad as this when purchasing new vehicle.”

“I phoned on Saturday afternoon to say I had been locked out of my mini as my key battery had ran out. I asked what battery it took & how I replace the battery. The women on the phone told me no one was in to help, and I was to come back tomorrow even though I was locked out my car in the rain/dark as a young women on my own. She then went on to tell me to “watch a YouTube video”. This is really is disgraceful customer service. Thankfully, HALFORDS were there to help who replaced the battery immediately and showed me exactly what to do. I suggest you go to Halfords if you are looking for help NOT the mini garage.”
“Bought Mini Countryman All 4 in June. Loved it! Unfortunately, when frosts came, I got frozen out 4 times- and it has been a mild winter. Tried to find a solution but got nowhere with dealership or Mini UK. Car sold back to Mini at a loss- they were keen to have it back to make more money. I need a car I can access. A 4x4 is no use in bad weather if you can't get into it. Only solution offered was another Mini or BMWs which did not meet my needs. Company not interested in the fact the car was returned because of a problem. They didn't even look at car to see why this was happening.”
“Shocking customer service at Douglas Park Stirling. Totally mis-sold BMW service plan. Told plan would help me avoid any 'nasty' service cost surprises. Car booked in for simple vehicle check and oil change today and they carry out a full major service without my permission then tell me service plan doesn't cover it. Needless to say it was a very nasty surprise bill! Was also mis-sold tyre insurance on the basis that car had run-flat tyres (as all my previous BMWs have) only to find car has standard tyres that they then charge to have punctures repaired! To add insult to injury when I collected the car it had new warning lights showing as service engineer hadn't put car back together properly! Questionable service from the garage over the years but today was the last straw!”
“Bought a Bmw 1 series from Douglas park, I cant rate them highly enough, I generally find buying a car a stressful experience but Peter the salesman and everyone I dealt with made this experience the best I've ever had, its the 1st time I've ever purchased a used car and it could have passed for a new car ! “My 2nd BMW 3 Series and once again another total gearbox failure.
First car lost reverse gear and cost £1600 to fix.
Current car is only 4years old and out-of warranty by 12 months but im left with a bill for £2600.
I will never buy another BMW again. Customer service is terrible My car is currently with an automatic gearbox specialist Total stripdown down required - cost £2600.
However apart from paying me lip service the chance of getting any compensation for selling me another unreliable banger are slim.
Apparently I missed a service (oil change) which invalidates any goodwill. The fact this was end March when we were in total lockdown cut no ice with the customer service agent I spoke to.
Cars are brilliant to drive but have been hopelessly unreliable and mega expensive to repair.”

“Truly awful after sales and customer care.
Picked up my new BMW 6 series in Dec’17 from Douglas Park BMW Stirling which was a happy event until I drove it away - vibration immediately felt through the car at higher speeds. Reported this to the dealer but they refused to recognise any problem.
I went to another dealer and spoke with BMW UK / Finance whom instigated ‘puma’ - a detailed fault finding process. This dealer not only found the problem, they fixed it and so is now the new working vehicle that Douglas Park Stirling failed to provide.
Douglas Park Stirling put me through months of utter hell and still now with the facts of what was wrong with the vehicle clear will not acknowledge any wrongdoings in their dealings with me. They took my money and did nothing to fix the defect present from sale/collection. Their parent company, Parks UK has completely ignored all of my emails of complaint to them.
Buyers please please truly be aware of what these people are capable of - they were extremely nice and compelling when making the sale - I travelled from Leeds to buy the vehicle with them. It frightens me still to think of what these people are capable of - I have never before experienced the level of ignorance and dismissal that they have shown to me. They have put me through the most awful experience and BMW UK fully allow them to do it.”
