“I find it disappointing that the rates can change monthly based on credit rating. All it takes is doing a credit check and the rating goes down which then affects the monthly rate. Does seem fair if the premium is paid monthly with no issues.”

“I purchased renter's insurance with Duuo and the experience was extremely user friendly. I'm especially impressed with the ease of monthly payments that are automatically paid from my credit card- I don't even notice it.”

“told them when to take a payment,they said theyd take it on that day and then drew the money out of my account that very day and i had to eat ramen and rice for four days”

We are a digital insurance platform and many of our processes are automated, which help us offer a competitive price. One of these automated processes includes the withdrawal of payments. A billing reminder is always shared 14 days in advance to help keep things like the amount and date of withdrawal transparent to our clients.

“My amount charged per month was increased by 10$ and I have no idea why. Doesn’t matter that it was noted in an email that they were charging me more, (no reason for increase was given) there was nothing I was aware of that was supposed to increase my monthly amount??? Will be canceling my account.”

There are multiple rating factors that our underwriters use to determine premium rates, such as postal code, credit score, crime rates, and claims, to name a few.
