Delivery estimates are made by eBay. The seller has NO control over the estimate and can't change it. As a seller I would send a message to the buyer telling them this along with my estimated delivery (we always shipped within 24 hours), so they don't have false expectations or hold it against me. If you are worried about a delivery timeframe ask the seller BEFORE you buy. By the way, we are no longer working with eBay, they are uncaring, no support, unethical.

Got bill for selling fees but I don’t get paid for another for another 15 days (Talked to Customer Service today broken English all I was told was anything over $1000 they will be on hold for 21 days ) Buyer received product 3 days after buying and has had It for 5 days so EBay wants there money so they get paid plus using my money from the sale for the product

Why is it that ebay always take the buyers side in any dispute?? I sent some sandals to the buyer in perfect condition ... A few days later the buyer got in contact with me stating they were damaged ... They were in perfect condition when posted, well wrapped ... I have sold on ebay for years and have good ratings, so why would they not believe, when I stated the buyer must have damaged them to get a refund .... I am now closing my selling with this company down, as not worth the trouble they cause

Ebay, in itself, will not scam you. However, they certainly do not have a good record for getting your money back for the people who sell items on their website. If you want to be certain, buy refurbished models from a retailer. They are less expensive than normal models and usually work just as well.

Why did you send me a have to pay notification? You wouldn't accept the payment from multiple cards or even through PayPal. Now that you've done that Ebay will be giving me a bad buyers rating.

You can't. You don't know what you are getting and eBay customer protection is inexistent.
