“EE for me is the best in the uk , a real breath of fresh air , great service , great customer service , great tec support and upgrades of the latest phones . I will stay with them forever . Great to see this service in my life a real life changer . I live in a city that was dominated by another operator . I dreamnt of the day i could get all these quality services . In the past with other uk operators the signal lagged , poor signal and dropped calls . Soon as i put my EE sim card in bang i had instant streaming and music and quality calls and texts. Maybe most other people take that for granted in the uk , but not here as i live under sea level and EE supply us with 5g and 5g mobile phones . Nobody else can match this service or quality . Im a right winging git if i dont get what i pay for . But i honestley dont have 1 negative word to say about EE. I hope they end up the only network in the ukššand bankrupt the rest. “I first joined EE with a Sim only plan and And loved there service Now I have the EE home broadband and Apple 4K TV I know People put bad reviews about every company but until you try it yourself youāre not gonna know I have only just joined EE home broadband and I have better Wi-Fi and better quality Internet I ever did then with Sky It all depends on what area you live in and what broadband quality and speeds you will get from that area I am quite close to the telephone exchange so I get pretty speeds I would recommend EE for the broadband Check on their website of what speeds you can get in your area I am definitely one happy customer I want to another with you once I have been with them for a good three or four month”
“Yesterday, (3rd October), I accompanied a gentleman to the Thurrock Lakeside Retail Park Extra EE outlet. It is important that I set the scene in order that our experience at the store is appreciated.
The gentleman is in his late seventies and is suffering from anxiety. He struggles to cope or deal with many of the quite basic necessities of life. He doesnāt always look after himself very well, so his appearance is dishevelled and can be disagreeable. He has a low tolerance of anything that he doesnāt fully understand and of situations that make him uncomfortable.
He needed an easy to use simple mobile phone with no āfrillsā and it needed to be on a contract so he didnāt have to worry about topping up, or passwords or anything that would complicate matters for him.
I explained his needs to Luke ā the manager. From the outset I was very comfortable with the way Luke just āgot itā. He was sensitive to the situation without showing that he realised there was a situation. His tone and his language were exactly right. He suggested a mobile phone that met the gentlemanās needs and he didnāt dwell on the features that he knew would not be used. He didnāt go to any special efforts that would over-compensate for the situation.
His colleague Mark, who I understand was on secondment from the Basildon store, had been attending to another customer, and when he was free he joined Luke to deal with the technical aspects e.g. switching from the previous provider and transferring data to the new phone. I was grateful for this because it did cut down the visit by a few minutes. Mark was also intuitive. Their banter was easy going and appropriately comical, and never technically above our grasp.
I am a firm believer that good service and in this case outstanding customer care, should be recognised and I wish to thank Luke and Mark for the way they handled a potentially stressful situation.”

“Customer services for my sim only mobile contract, using data while abroad. I made an error working my way through an online menu, and managed to switch off data roaming. I ended up making several calls to customer services (we crossed national borders on our travels) and on every occasion, they were helpful, polite, genuinely interested in solving the problem, and made me feel valued as a customer and as an individual. As a first time young customer on ee my first experience buying a contract wasnt very pleasant. On Saturday i brought a contract for Samsung s10e and was very happy. However when i turned on the phone it started to burn up after 2 minutes, to the point it would burn my hand to touch. I left it for a day incase it was the summer heat, but the same happened the next day. So on Tuesday (4 days after buying the contract) I went back to the store. After explaining their only solution was to give me a new phone. Seeing as i didnt want a new on due to reading other s10es had done the same i demanded a contract cancellation as the phone was unsafe and I had a 7 day cooling off period. Their answer, no we don't do that. Even though I had the ee's websites info on cooling off they said i can only cancel due to signal problems, which was a lie as I can called customer service that morning to check if cancellation was possible before going to the store.
Apparently to stores a health and safety hazard is less important to them than signal (ridiculous).
Anyway this is where Danielle became my guardian angel. I knew the staff in store couldnt be bothered with me and as I look so young they clearly thought i knew nothing I called CS AGAIN. Danielle ensured me by eu law they have to cancel if I ask as the phone is unsafe. She gave me her email so she could call me for when i return to the store to speak to the manager, if they still refused. Which of course they did, this time i returned with my father as the store didnt want to give me a time of day. After refusing AGAIN with a note on my record saying they need to cancel (which the staff were reluctant to check by the way) I gave Danielle an email and 2 minutes later she called me, she waited on the phone with me for 20 minutes while the staff hid in the back and refused to come deal with it. She then spoke to the store manager and after 5 minutes of him moaning she got him to cancel the contract on the spot.
She went above and beyond to ensure i got what i needed, she was amazing and spend most of her work afternoon helping me, without her id still have a contract with a dangerous phone today. Ee redhill store itself get 0 stars from me, they were rude and had no interest in even looking into the matter. I understand they have been told rules but all they had to do is call CS and ask themselves to confirm, but clearly they are more concerned with commissiom than helping customer be happy.
If you ever need help dont bother with stores Danielle and her team are definately the people you should contact for support.”
“After initially getting no help from the Cs team I escalated my issue and in fairness to EE I received a telephone call from a very helpful lady who looked into the matter and resolved the issue. For this reason alone despite the first hiccup I am happy to say that I definitely would give 5 stars to ee. Only read on for specific named cases:
Home Broadband
Due to an error made by a BT engineer not EE my broadband took a few weeks to connect and prior to that had no service at all
They sent me a sim router and kept topping up my data for free and reimbursed me for the time I wasnāt connected
Then when I did finally get connected (through no fault of their own but heavily compensated by them) the service was intermittent - again it is believed to be BTās fault
After a couple of engineer visits the issue was resolved and again reimbursed for the time during faulty service
Then I moved house and tried to take EE broadband with me unable to supply at new address and sent a voucher as a gesture of goodwill

While abroad on a couple of occasions last year i connected to the internet on a couple of the days but some reason it connected me every day despite me turning off data roaming
Now I could easily have been making this up but EE were most reasonable and agreed to go halves with me on the roaming charges
Very good of them
Finally sim only:
I took out a plan for my car a few months back as Audi advised with a SIM card I can park my car using my phone track my car and log miles and journeys etc
Turns out these features are not available in the UK yet only in countries such as America took a while for myself and audi to realise this in which time Iād exceeded my 14 day cooling off I just accepted this as a mistake and Iād pay the price for the next year or so
Well today EE rang me to ensure I was on the best deal and see if I needed any other products etc
So I asked if they could possibly do anything about the SIM only Iām not really using, I mean itās connected to my car and does update my sat nav with traffic data and tell me the weather forecast and give me train and plane delays oh and give me google maps but non of which Iād really pay Ā£10PCM for
Now fully expecting the answer to be no, the guy said heād speak to his superior
Came back and to my amazement agreed to cancel the plan
Now, many grumble about EE saying theyāre the most expensive
You get what you pay for
Most expensive because they have the widest coverage and in my opinion the best customer service
