“Despite the good reputation from eec. My personal experience could have been better. The installers Dan and mike worked tirelessly and tried to complete the job in one day. They did not start till 11.30 am,though so by the end struggled to finish in the time they stated and had to come back two days later. On completion of the job my fit meter was too high up the ceiling. In order to see it I had to stand on toilet bowl precariously dangerous so I had to insist that this was moved to an easily accessible position. (Which was completed several days later) Generally tidyness could have been better. Put it this way I had to redecorate and repain't my bathroom area. After signing off the job and paying out several thousand pounds My solar boost did not work on fitting to my dismay. So I had to make frantic calls to head office. It took time and they rectified the problems timely and quickly. My problems were a true test of this company's integrity, and yes they passed. Despite the problems I had I would still recommend this company. Their sales team was good and my personal sales person who pitched to me was outstanding. He knew his stuff. Sold me the best product for my home and the price and value was brilliant compared too other companies. Good communication between myself and the girls in the office. They gave me reassurance when I was at the peak of distress when the problems arose. Since the installation August 2015. To now,my panels have been functioning really well. I have the latest innovation solar edge which is a brilliant concept from USA. Not only does it maximise my roofspace re panels,it also allows me to monitor overall effectiveness via live feed through to my pc at home. Brilliant!!!. I have no hesitation in recommending this company my problems were unique. In my opinion I was pleased with their handling of it. I was not the easiest customer too deal with. But given I had forked out £6500.00 and within hours my system did not work then I would like to see how calm other people would be in my predicament. Eec in my opinion were good overall and I was glad I chose them in the end. My system works really well now,and I am pleased with my purchase overall. I would give them 3.5-4 out of 5 stars. If not for my other niggly problems definitely 4.5.”

“From getting a quote through to installation was very good. However we had to chase several times to have a wifi card installed, as this was not supplied with the installation. Everyone we spoke with was very courteous and helpful.”

“Can't fault the installation, excellent and very quick with no fuss or mess. Very professional & very pleased. The reason I only give 4 stars is because of the after installation service which could be better. I ended up chasing them most of the time. Not very good at returning calls promptly.”

Due to the sudden announcement of the potential feed-in-tariff cut we have experienced an extremely high volume of calls, however we have immediately put the relevant measures in place to deal with such volumes. “This company have been attentive, professional and punctual. I have felt well looked after at each stage of the installation. There was a little mess in the garden after the installation but that was probably because they packed up in a bit of a hurry as I had to go out. I am very pleased with the panels.”

“The man who came to explain everything at the beginning said the Utility Warehouse were different because they were the only company that would manage the FIT account for you, so this confused me when I first made contact with them. Workmen were excellent. There is a loose roof tile in the gutter and we were not sure whether this happened during or after the work and so could have damaged the system - we are still awaiting a visit to sort this out! Your phone people are exceedingly helpful with the forms. We are still not up and running because I filled and signed all the forms with you, but because the bill is in my husband's name and we already had an agreement that I could speak for him we saw no problem there. But we had to go back and have my name put on the UW account. - It may be useful for you to know that and remind customers.”

“6 new panels added. It was a windy day and with only one person( should have been two) and some difficulty experienced in carrying panels onto roof, resulting in several roof tiles being damaged. (lucky I had some spares!) Other than this It was a good job.”

“I found the whole experience very good. There was no hard sell and I was given space to think about it. The salesman was polite and helpful and the installation was quick and painless. The fitters were lovely boys and I felt comfortable having them in my house,”

“Very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful salesman. Installation was on time if a little longer than agreed because I wanted the inverter installed in a shed attached to my house and they had to return on a second day to complete. I was a little disappointed that the cables running from the loft to the shed were left surface mounted and not chased into the wall as agreed with the salesman. Overall I give the installation a rating of 8 out of 10 and I am completely happy with the performance of my panels.”

“Very pleasant people to deal with, very attentive and good communication before and after installation. The only negative is that you have to do the Fit application yourself, most solar installation firms do this as standard. The fit application involves quite a few forms and some of it is in confusing legal type jargon.”

“Well done all round --great job except the 2 men who removed the scaffolding --they mad a mess of the roof tiles and broke the Satellite reciver..they went away without telling me like cow boys workers and forgot to pick up bits of their gear ...”

“Your blurb was seen on the internet; I responded and you got back to me quickly. Within a short time an appointment was made for your representative to view the house for solar panels. On his arrival he quickly got on with his part of the assessment. He patiently went on with explanations 'of the paperwork'. As their was nothing untoward we agreed a time for the installers. They were late arrivers having misjudged the time of travel from their place of work to my address and subsequently could not complete the job on the same day. They returned the next day and completed the remaining work. As I am not in the country I am assured by those at home that everything expected has/is happening as expected”
