I was waiting a while for fabric to make a quilt with, so rang up & was told it was being cut & would go out on Overnight Delivery which by next morning it arrived before 08.45 very impressed plus was given 2 metres of extra material for having to wait - AMAZING SERVICE, will definitely use them again

I ordered a large quantity of wadding, which arrived within the same week as I put my order in. It arrived today, well packed and overall I'm pleased with there service.thank you.

I placed an order during the companies January sale. I allowed more than 2 weeks for my order as I know it is a busy time with extended delivery times. I emailed asking if the goods were in stock and when I can expect despatch. I received a response saying the goods were out of stock and the order will not be fulfilled. I was told they will now raise a refund but have not received it yet I love the fabrics this company sells but this is the third time I have ordered goods and not received them. My main problem is the lack of communication. I have had to follow up each time and only then a refund raised. Unfortunately I will not be ordering from them again.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I’ve never spoken to anyone as rude and awful as ‘Christine’ in my entire life. All items out of stock, don’t waste your time and money. They love taking peoples money, shame they don’t like fulfilling orders...

Second time shopping at Empress mills. Both times ended in disaster, they don't keep correct stock of items so fabrics are unavailable even when ordered. They do not dispatch on time, I had to contact them multiple times before they sent my order and to organise a refund for the unavailable products. Avoid, unless you have time to chase them up so they do they their job.

Not a dreadful experience but like one of the other reviewers a bit fed up that items marked in stock weren’t and I had to chase to discover why my order hadn’t arrived, i would have been much happier to receive items that were in stock with an explanation about the out of stock one instead of them waiting till I contacted them again, leaving it up to me to do any follow up twice. Having said that what I did receive was good and nice quality and the staff very helpful although there was a very long delay understandable at the present time but no excuse for lack of info.

I have use the site a few times, lately however the company have had misleading stock counts intent on drawing you into purchasing, only to be notified there is no stock and that the order will be delayed, for about 2 months... Where most sites will let you know the stock of the items, EM does not worry about the integrity of its company, a lying face that draws you in with an extensive range, unique to EM, where other companies do not have the same calibre of dyes. Beneath the golden range and wonderful items, is a lazy creature that must not have counted the stock, and the paying customer is only notified once the order has been made, how convenient! Now the combo is where the staff have very limited time on the desk to reply to emails, good luck if you get a reply within 10 days, where I ordered some fabric dye on 5/05/20 I am still liasing, albeit with what can only resemble a brick wall, until 11/06/20/ all because of misinformed stocks to draw customers in. Sort it out, customers projects should not be at peril because of the companies mistakes!

The web site was very easy to use and there was a good range of fabrics on offer. The order was processed quickly and arrived within 2 days. I was kept informed re the progress of my order. The fabric is as expected. I will use this company again.
