“Slightly mislead at the noise levels, first time buying a generator and it turns out to be much louder than expected. DB values are at 7m away from the unit, but no value is given when next to the unit. I work pretty much next to the unit all day, never more than 2m away from it, and as such, I really needed to see the noise rating when next to the unit. It’s a bit loud of me currently. The actual generator itself is very good, super easy to operate and plenty powerful enough for my needs.”

“Very pleased with the Honda product although the process of getting it was less than wonderful. Ordered it on a Saturday, it was in-stock with next day delivery. As it was a Saturday I did not expect it to be delivered on Sunday, but by Monday PM I had heard nothing. Phoned and was told it had been dispatched. Next day nothing so phoned again and told it had not been dispatched as it was out of stock. If new stock arrived that day it would be dispatched. It arrived the next day. Typical on-line automation and human error confusing the client with inaccurate information.”

Dear Philip, Thanks for your review and my apologies that your experience with Energy Generators wasn't up to the level you expected. Unfortunately, our normal AM delivery from Honda was delayed and we were unable to despatch your order on Monday PM as previously advised. Energy prides itself on the level of communication we offer our customers but on this occasion, I accept that it should have been better. Please again accept my apologies and hopefully, we can do business again in the future. Regards Scott

“It would have 5, but due UPS not following the instruction where to leave the package if there was no reply, also they did not deliver on the Friday as per their email, the second email stated it would be delivered at end of the day on Tuesdays. I had to go out in the morning and when I came home at about 14:30, there was UPS note in the door stating the package could be collected after 17:00 locally I arrived at 17:10 and it was not there and I was advised to come back the following day at the same time. I did get an email from UPS saying that it was delivered 17:57 on Tuesday and I could pick it up the next day. Which I did. To sum up I consider that UPS service was appalling and it I require to order anything from Energy Generator, I shall ensure that I will think long and hard about using your company again.”

“Ultimately I am reasonably happy with the eventual outcome but it took way too long to resolve everything. I placed my order based on the details on the website telling me that the item was in stock and available for next day delivery. It eventually arrived two weeks later after an email (which was not replied to) and a couple of phone calls. I also appreciate from the conversations I had with the sales team that the item was out of stock with the supplier which caused the delay. I have as yet not received the free cover, oil or caravan converter cable which were advertised as being included with the generator. I have chased these items up today but am not holding my breath. I have obviously already purchased oil anyway to get it up and running. My main grumble is really that if the website was kept up to date then I would have prepared for the longer delivery time or chosen to place the order elsewhere. I was lucky that I had no time pressure for delivery. If I had needed this urgently then I would have been more annoyed.”

“I am happy about my purchase the generator meet my enquiry the only - I found it's the noise it's supposed to be silent. This generator is used to power a catering trailer in a public place, because of the noise I was required to provide a acoustic box for the generator, which cost me pretty same price. Best regards”

“I initially contacted Stephill Generators and they provided me with Energy Generators details as a trusted reseller. The initial sale part was good, no problem with order and transferring funds. Organised to generator delivered to a separate address as I was not going to be in on day of delivery. Package was delivered to separate address and I went to collect it all good. When I returned home and opened package wheel kit was missing. I emailed them and called the next day. Was called back and said they would have to investigate with courier. Came back and said all goods were signed for. I said delivery note does not say 2 parcels? I felt I was being accused of stealing the wheel kit, I just needed it was a job that I now has to reschedule. Eventually they came back to me and the courier has admitted it had only delivered one of the parcels and would deliver the other that day which they did. Another round trip to separate address to collect it. Wheel kit is poorly made. Screw bracket to put on wheels has been welded in the wrong way around. When assembled and wheel as put on it is impossible to tighten or loosen the wheels because of poor manufacturing. I had no option but to go with it as really needed it for a job. To my mistake I did not tighten up wheels maybe as much as I should have as I was worried about spinning the thread to much. The wheels have now moved making the generator too awkward to move. It is now sat in the garage until I get some time to figure out what I’m going to do? To be fair I have not contacted Energy Generators about this issue as I feel what is the point? Their attitude when I had a problem with the delivery was quite dismissive and accusing! They probably would have told me to send it back but I couldn’t as I would have lost the job I bought it for in the 1st place. For these 2 reasons I give them 3 out of 5 stars... should have trusted my initial instincts and went for the slightly cheaper option for the same product on the internet and not went with the recommendation!”

Hi Danny, Very sorry you feel let down with your purchase - there seems to have a small communication issue when you contacted us about the missing wheel kit. Please be assured that we are never intentionally dismissive - unfortunately we have to deal with fraud and theft on a daily basis and are thus forced into making stringent checks on any missing items. It doesn't help when couriers don't do their job properly! I hope that you have resolved the issue with the wheel kit - if not, please do contact us again and we will do what we can to help. “Well I'm not happy I rang you over a week ago and was promised that the regulator would be with me last Saturday bout a week on and still not here so have not used the geny apart from the first day so had to cancel the jobs as with out it I have no power to run my work shop . So if it is not sorted asap you can come and collect it and give me a full refund From philip Stanyard atfurlongs farm bitterley ludlow Sy83hr”
