The option to contact Escapade by telephone is pointless and needs to be urgently revised. I began my call at 11.07am this morning as I wanted to check items would be available in store to avoid a wasted journey after being let down last minute by another retailer. The recording advised i was no 20 in the queue, so I waited and waited until i was down to no 2 in the queue (+2hrs later) then no further message just constant ringing for another 30 or so minutes. I tried ringing on another phone and the message advised i would be no 19 in the queue so I disconnected both calls and shopped elsewhere. Whilst I appreciate you must be incredibly busy the day prior to Halloween, if you do not have sufficient staff to answer calls within a reasonable time, 30 mins max, then you should redirect a different message which states "sorry but all our staff are busy serving customers and are unable to take any calls right now". A good example of this would be the Party Superstore group.

Mask wasn’t right, left eye didn’t have a black outer rim so had to colour this myself, this part also digs into my eye and shouldn’t, wasn’t expecting a latex mask as does have an extremely unpleasant odour, haven’t tried the rest on yet hopefully not awaiting further disappointment with this order. Delivery later then expected and to late for me to do anything about returns etc

If I could give less I would! Ordered my little boy an outfit for Halloween opened the box on the night before Halloween to find I had been sent 2 adult costumes. Currently been on hold for 1 hour 21 minutes and still at number 4. Appalling customer service will never use again!

Product turned up late Because my shipping address was incorrect. Tried to contact their customer service and was kept on hold for up to an hour, for the customer rep to not be helpful at all.

Ordered my costume Saturday 26.10 and paid for next day delivery to get it in time for my party on the 30th of Oct. Order confirmation said the package should arrive on tuesday 29th, but it didn’t. Called them Wednesday morning to ask what has happened and if they could help. Still on hold waiting for someone to pick up the phone after 4 HOURS!! Never using them again.

The handle on the Jason Toy Machete broke once we removed it from the packaging tried to phone but never got an answer or I was number 20 in the queue every time I phoned.

I ordered my item on the 7th of October in plenty of time for Halloween, it is now the 30th and still not delivery. Very disappointed with the service and the tracker app

Order two outfits with Next Day Delivery, they have not arrived. I have tried to contact your customer service team on the number to discuss this but I've now been on hold for over 3 hours!!! Disgusting, do not waste your money with this company.

I'm not happy ordered my parcel last tues for 48 he delivery meant to come on the Thursday waited all day n then got a txt saying they tried to deliver but no ones home pure lies I waited all day n it never came so phoned the no and was told they didn't even attempt to deliver so I emailed use and royal mail then 're arranged redilvery meant to come yesterday no one has came yesterday or today I'm raging two kids heart broken last week as they were costumes for Halloween disco at school last Thursday so very disapointeed I paid extra to get them here on time for there party and now it's been Tuesday still no parcel a full week past n nothing still

If I could give no stars I would. The wig I received for my Medusa costume looks absolutely NOTHING like the picture. It is a tangled and matted mess of cheap looking reddish wirey ‘hair’ with the odd dreadlock here and there. Will not be wearing. Will not be buying anything from Escapade ever again. Your woeful mis-advertising has lost you a customer.

Your having a laugh I have spent over 5 hours trying to resolve the issue of an incomplete order. The phone line gets to number 1 in the queue then if cuts off. Going to raise PayPal dispute had enough will never use this company again.

My 1920 gangster boss costume was absolutely not what I was expecting. Absolutely terrible. Way too oversized and the material was too cheap to take anywhere. The picture on the website is nothing like the actual product as the collar didn’t even go together properly on the poorly made waistcoat and shirt combination. Incredibly unsatisfied...

Ordered my costume and paid extra for special delivery. They sent the wrong size and when I rang I was on hold for 2 hours. When it finally rang When I was 1st in the queue it went dead. I’ve emailed them and they want me to send it back 2nd class. Once they receive it they will refund me and the price of 2nd class delivery. Dreadful service and the costume came with bits falling off it anyway. Stay far away.
