Ordered before cut of time for next day delivery paid extra for service and it took 2days for it to turn up spent 25mins on phone to customer service and didn’t move on there waiting list won’t be using them again

Ordered a large adult costume and received a child’s medium costume. Paid extra for next day delivery so I had the costume on time which was pointless when they sent a child’s costume that would not fit a 6ft man. When trying to contact them I was waiting in a queue for 20 minutes to move two places. Would never use this site again!

We made an order for a costume and paid for it to be express delivered within 3 working days; 5 days later, we are still waiting. No communication from Escapade was forthcoming and had to contact Customer Services for an update which was provided in a short and abrupt manner. The revised delivery date passed without any communication and we again contacted Customer Services, this time waiting 2 hours to get through a queue of 9 people. When we did get to the front of the queue, the call rang and eventually rang out. You can imagine how disappointed my son is as he is now the only child without a costume for this party. Disgraceful customer service and who knows what the products quality is like as we still await delivery...

Ordered a expensive Ruby’s Batman costume at over £220 when it arrived it had obviously been opened and re packed and even possibly worn or tried on a couple of times. The trousers also had a small hole in the knee. My event was two days after delivery so I had no time to dispute with the company unfortunately so I made the best of what they delivered. But felt a bit swindled to be honest. Wouldn’t recommend.

Really unhappy with my recent order. Ordered three items, on damaged and one missing. I called to try and resolve my issue but line always busy with many callers waiting. Instead emailed them and yet to receive a response. Very disappointed and will look elsewhere next time.

Do not believe all these positive reviews I bought the darf vader costume from here due to the good reviews on quality after half hour of my son wearing costume the started falling apart and unstitchinget, I have autistic son and he wears a lot if costumes and I have never had a problem with the quality except from escapades I've sent them pics of the offending item and the I've heard nothing yet, I'm annoyed and feel rather ripped of ,

Purchased a mask, which isn’t functioning properly (the jaw doesn’t operate as advertised). No response from customer service. Would not recommend.

For a £50 outfit (more than most) the quality was really poor. The plastic sections had become unglued from the fingers, the tunic belt didn’t line up until it’s the inner lining or belt. Also the whole thing was crammed into a small bag meaning it was really creased. I sent it back - no offer of exchange either Won’t be shopping there again!

Brought a Harry Potter hufflepuff robe paid 8 pound for next day delivery and had the clasp missing! Emailed customer service and got a partial refund of 6 pound didn’t even get my postage back 25 pound for nothing was unwearable without clasp son really disappointed as couldn’t wear it for his event waste of money!

Terrible experience. When the costume arrived it was cracked. Been on hold for the refund / returns for 18* minutes only moved from 16- 13 in the queue! Put the phone down and dialled the number provided on the review site, only to find the exact same shocking phone system! This time I started at number 19 in the queue! There aren’t enough hours in the day !!! Shocking service

I am not happy with this company at all. The order for the product was made on Friday morning. I paid extra for a Monday delivery, and the product arrived on Tuesday, which as too late. Incredibly poor service when I complained. Will not use again.

Arrived 21/10/19 The inside was filthy stains where I would have to put my mouth, red stains on the arm and the zip was broken! Disgusting sent it back for a refund you’re better off going to the store in Camden as they do not allow people to try morph suits on For hygiene purposes so they’re guaranteed to be clean.
