“Quite good service but tried to telephone and the customer service didn't put me through Had to speak to shop who couldn't help me. Have returned an item a week ago and am waiting for refund.”

“Requested next day delivery however it didn't arrive on the required day, it eventually turned up just in the nick of time for our fancy dress party. Appreciate it was over the Christmas period, however no customer services available and finally got a response 3rd Jan (no apology and no refund of the next day delivery charge!) Costumes were ok but the same brand available elsewhere, so I wouldn't rush back to Escapade based on my experience.”

“It would be helpful if the sizes on the item i purchased was the same as the size chart on the web site. XL was stated as 16/18 on the web site but on the package XL was 12/14 and i am a 14/16 so it would not fit. It was a shame because the outfit would have been ideal. I will order things in the future”

Hi Jennifer thank you for your feedback. The item you purchased Haunting Beauty costume is from one of our great suppliers in America, as such the marking on the package is in US sizes. Please try on the costume as i think you will find the UK sizing is one size bigger. You will find that this is explained in the size guide on our website. “I give it a 3 star because I was expecting a little better quality, the material was very shiny and creased, the instructions say not to iron and with shiny material I risked it and did iron on a low heat, the material was absolutely fine thank goodness there’s no way I couldn’t have ironed it. The sash is a bit difficult to keep it help together as there’s no clasp it just pushes together through a material loop. Once it was ironed the overall look is good.”
